WeStay Suites

The room smells like mildew, the bathroom floor has hair all over it. The shower tub has dirt all over it and the sink also has dirt in it. When you go to book the room online it says you don't pay for it until you check in and also send you an email saying you have an outstanding balance to pay but you get to the counter to check in and it's paid for. They charge your card before you check in. We tried to ask for another room and told us it is full, when the parking lot is empty. I'm not giving this place any stars. Also the sofa has a big cigarette burn on it and the whole hotel is non smoking

This is the worst place I have stayed. The employees were very disrespectful and the rooms were dirty, roach infested, mold growing and even had mushrooms growing in them. I was there for the hurricane and they had no generator so we had no power for a week and the very next day they knocked on the door making us pay full price. The management and owner could care less about anything but money, money, money and if everything you owned was destroyed and didn't have anywhere to go I personally watch them kick people to the curb. I don't recommend this roach motel run by money hungry and disrespectful

I was amazed at the great service of Mrs Jenny Smith!! I have been through a rough patch and trying to find lodging is a hassle let along finding clean upscale affordable extended lodging!! I tried about 10 other B&B's as well as hotels and the prices and staff were ridiculous!!! We stay helped to finde the best deal to meet my needs and a price that's less than half of all of the competition surrounding their location!! Thank you for providing excellent service and actually meeting the standards presented on the website!!

Junk hotel room. Stains, stink and gross. Pretty sure the mattress is about 50% urine at this point. This is the type of experience that’ll make me check the room before committing in the future. I hope my family doesn’t get sick. Manager Emily Mark is quick to respond to these reviews but after reading the previous comments, it’s all talk. Next time I’ll just drive all night instead of staying here.

I just drove 10 hours, it's 9:15p, on a Tuesday, no one is up front at reception, and we cannot check in to our room
I tried calling, heard the phone's ringing all throughout the lobby, but no answer.
This place is absolutely terrible.

They have the best staff on board to take care of all your needs! House keeping is kept up with very well and they cater wonderfully and respectfully to long term guests! My fur babies love it here with plenty of room in the rooms for them! Spacious, very clean and air conditioning so good it will freeze you out. Best hotel I have ever had the benefit of staying at!

This was by far the worst hotel experience I’ve ever ever experienced! Not only did the room I stay in have roaches, but when I opened the dishwasher, there was a rat that was in the dishwasher that jumped out at me! Needless to say, one could assume that these rooms are not cleaned after someone leaves the room well. I would look into staying at a more prestigious, four-star hotel if you want quality! WeStay Suites is awesome. They take out the frills and give me a great price for my own queen studio. Much better than brand X across the parking lot. Charles and the staff make sure you have everything you need to make it your home away from home. It's the best deal around and the longer you pay in advance the better the rate. Need a long term place WeStay suites is what you need. I highly recommend it

I checked of the hotel today and i had yet another amazing stay!! My kids came with me this tome love there amazing pool! These rooms are so spacious its like i have my own apartment. My kids where happy we didnt have to leave the dogs at home.i will definitely be telling my friends and family about this great hotel!!

The refrigerator had been leaking for some time. And still was. You had to turn in your two towels before you can have clean ones. NO HOUSEKEEPING!!! you get one small bar of soap. Anything else you needed they would tell you go to racetrack. We asked for an extra blanket for my daughter. They said they do not have any. I must purchase my own. So I did. Most of the lamps do not work. The ironing board is broken, the microwave, the iron, all broken!! I will never stay here again!! For about 100 dollars a night, absolutely insane!! My stay at WeStay Suites was very delightful. They provide many activities you can choose from, such as a movie theater, mini golf, a pool with a hot tub, and even a gym. They even have a room full of washers and dryers for extended stays. The rooms are nice, but not as clean as they should be, they smelled nice, but some furniture was tattered and stained. One hallway had a particular odor that should addressed by the staff. Overall the service was great, and everything was priced fairly. I recommend staying at WeStay Suites for a quick stay and a good deal!

This hotel is nasty. Please stay away. When it was time to check into the hotel we were informed that our room was canceled. Which I called in November to make sure we were good for our stay in December. Once I spoke with the hotel I was informed that no matter if we had a conformation number it still wouldn't be honored. After going back and forth with the front desk clerk we were given twin different room instead of the 2 bedroom suite we booked back in September. I have to say yikes. You get what you pay for I guess. It was a cheap stay, under 100$ a night, but man was it a cheap stay.
We walk into the room and it smells like cigarettes. We didn't ask for a smoking room and no we are not smokers. That for me was super unacceptable.

For the money ($83) this place is a gem! The bed was comfortable and the price was decent. Sure it needed minor touches...ex. baseboard tiles behind toilet was loose, the base cabinet in bathroom was worn slightly here and there*distressed look*, But here's what matters...the bed was clean and very comfortable...the hot water was VERY hot and pressure was great. Doesn't even deserve one star! I booked this hotel based on it being advertised as a 'Staybridge'. It had 4 stars and at the time, nothing else was available with a kitchen, that was pet friendly, and could accommodate my family. So I went for it thinking I got lucky. When my father booked this hotel it was supposedly a "Staybridge Suites" and then when they arrived it was a We Stay. There was no real breakfast as promised and they don't change sheets and you have to go down stairs and trade in towels for new towels. When my father requested a refund and left to stay at a different hotel, they kept giving him a runaround and wouldn't let him talk to a manager (constantly "out"). Absolutely do not stay here. I reserved online through the website Bring Fido looking for a dog friendly hotel while traveling cross country. I was notified that the hotel had changed ownership. I read reviews and decided it would provide the overnight services I needed. When I arrived about 7pm the limited parking lot was full of trucks and work vehicles with workers playing music and standing around. My 4th floor suite was filthy. ARRIVING: We arrived at our hotel room at around 3 pm- the sofas and chairs were so badly stained, as well as the carpet. When we first were looking at the room we saw a man rush in and lay a couple of towels in the bathroom and hurry out. We had asked if they actually cleaned the room several times and the lady at the front desk assured us multiple times it was clean.

I booked here because we wanted a two bedroom suite. However, upon arrival they informed us that our room was damaged and gave us two queen bed rooms across the hall from each other. Since we were traveling with our son we clearly were not pleased with that "solution". In addition the hotel smells musty, has silverfish, and isn't very clean. Want a towel after your shower? Well here you only get one towel per room. Regardless of how many people are staying. Breakfast? The room is filthy. There are stains all over the carpet, the couch, the ceiling and even the toilet. Hair on the bedding and in the shower. 2 out of 4 lamps don't work. Freezer has something yellow and sticky all over the bottom and the reason that I know it's sticky is that unfortunately I touched it. There are only 3 very small pillows for a king size bed that seems small as well. And the AC is not working properly so it's stuffy and hot in this gross room. I stayed in this hotel with my mom and best friend when we came down for Mardi Gras. I want to start by saying the front desk people are very nice- specifically the skinny young girl with long straight hair who works evenings and the tall skinny guy with nice hair who works mornings. They're the only ones I dealt with the week I was there but they were super nice the entire time. With that said- that's the only positive thing I have to say.
