I met with Mark and discussed some coins I had for sale. He discussed the coins and the market and how the value is determined. We came to an agreement that was more than fair. I genuinely enjoyed the time we spent discussing coins. As a Rabbi I am always looking out for my people. I had an elderly lady and her daughter come to me asking for help to sell some old coins,after my research i came across Mark at American Numismatic. With a phone call we set up an appointment and was pleasently surpised at the honesty and knowledge of Mark. We received a good and fair price for the 30 plus pounds of siver we brought in. WE still have more so there is a plan to return in the future.

Having worked in a coin shop before, I assumed a bit of decency and professionalism would be available.
After 1 minute on the phone with Scott, I can't imagine someone bringing anything of value to him and expecting respect in return.
Rather sell on eBay after my own research or take your business elsewhere.

I have come down today to ha e some coins looked at. And left not only in a better mood but a much wiser and informed person than when i walked in. If you need a numisatist Mark Machosky is the man you want to see. Honesty is what you find he is fair and informative at the same time. And an amazing eye for detail.
