Do not rent from this company. I was only there for 5 months and it was the worst rental experience of my life. They were extremely slow to repair any damages; the front door to the building was left unlocked/broken for days, broken washers/dryers, electrical issues were never fixed within the apartment and the management is extremely rude no matter the reason for contacting them. They refused to hold the other roommate accountable for under payment on rent and instead grouped myself into an issue stemming a year before I even signed onto the lease. I am beyond unhappy with this company! I have been living in a building owned by this company for about 8 months, they have been "working" on our apartment since then, repairing things and whatnot they left a bunch of ladders, paint cans, etc in addition to stealing some of our light bulbs. We have contacted them numerous times and they have yet to do anything. The second we are even 5 mins late with rent, they have a COP at our door in the middle of the night w a 5 day notice. They are the laziest real estate company I have ever dealt with and I will never live in a building they own

This company does not care about its residents. Even after multiple work orders, letters, and visits down to the office, they still will not fix our buzzer or the door that is literally off the hinges in our kitchen. Do not rent from this company, you will regret it.

This is a MANAGEMENT COMPANY
So this 1 in particular has a primary purpose: GET RENT MONEY for property owners. They are currently cleaning house - by kicking out all squatters and taking them to court. It is a necessary evil - but it is terrible to see all the clothes, stuffed animals and cribs overloading the garbage dumpsters

The doors of our homes are covered in NOTICES!!! In BOLD to pick up after yourself, No LATE PAYMENTS - NO EXCUSES!!!! These cover the doors that do not open - fire safety issue? CODES? The trim that is hanging off the roofs, the sliding doors hanging by a thread and brings

Model tenants, always paid rent on time, took care of landlord's property for years when the property apparently went into foreclosure and they took over. They were consistently rude from the get go and only got ruder. They ignored what few routine requests were made like security issues that they caused in changing locks so we moved on. I've lived in a lot of buildings with management companies and they are easily the worst by a long shot. Not sure how they are allowed to call themselves "management company" at all when they only mismanage and seem to be concerned about only

I finally got the company to acknowledge that I want out, but then they threatened to not give my security deposit back for breaking my lease. I'm only breaking it because they are not living up to what was promised, a sanitary place to live. I had to get a lawyer involved and once they realized that I knew my rights and that they could not keep that money, then they finally agreed to give me my security deposit, pending there is no damage. I really hope anyone who considers signing with them sees this before they do. No apartment is worth this.

If I can give negative stars for this rating I would! I've had the most horrific time dealing with Josh Chowdhary as a property manager. He never returns calls, never has an honest answer, and I'm always met with rudeness.

When something would break in my unit it would take several days for the issue to be addressed and rectified. I get the excuse of messages were not received or I never get a call back. It doesn't matter how big or small the job is, I'm consistently met with silence from this business.

Poor service, poor excuse for a property manager. My next complaint will

I have been waiting to write this review for quite some time. I have sold my condo, and no longer have to deal with CRER, thankfully.

I was an owner in a building that went into foreclosure (half units foreclosed, half owner occupied). Bank appointed CRER. There was no association.

CRER collected association dues from owners and rent from renters (but there is no association, right? So the owners have zero say in where their money goes). Owners were sent a letter instructing us to pay a specific amount to a random guy at a random company. No explanation. No introduction. Nothing. I

CRER took over our building a few months ago when it fell into foreclosure. All the people I met and/or spoke with were friendly and curteous. We had a few minor maintenance issues but Lenny responded immediately whether by phone, text or in person. In a situation which is, at best, uncertain and difficult, I always felt as if we were supported by CRER to the best of their abilities; not necessarily the "norm" in building management companies.

Chicago Real Estate Resources has been managing my apartment building since the original owner went into foreclosure. Originally I was a bit scared, not knowing what to expect. But in reality, the experience has been great!

There were a lot of maintenance issues (faulty washer & drier most significantly) that had been plaguing my unit since day one. I had called my previous landlord's maintenance guy repeatedly but it was always a nightmare. Not only would he never call before coming to fix something, it always seemed to break immediately.

The leasing agent we worked with was awesome. He was easy to deal with, prompt, and generally pretty nice to us. Moving in was easy, but the problems started shortly thereafter.

First, my car was towed from the parking spot I paid for in the building's private lot, because despite asking if I needed one, I was not give a parking sticker. It was comped, but only the beginning.

Next, the water was shut off due to this company's failure to pay their bill. They had given the city the wrong address for our building, and the property manager was rude and aggressive, trying to blame the city
