The first time we went to cottonwood was for an emergency walk in. My dog Winnie ended up tearing her ACL and patella tendon so she needed surgery. They were very kind and compassionate, explained everything in detail. I expected there to be a wait considering we were a walk in appointment. A couple months after her first surgery she ended up tearing her other leg, which they told us there was an 80-90% chance of that happening. So she had a double leg surgery the next time. her original leg repaired and then her new leg. They kept her for a long weekend after both the legs to make sure she got

This was my first visit to Cottonwood. It was an emergency, they saw my dog Chile right away, diagnosed her and gave me medication for her. I was there about 2 hours, her diagnosis was given and thorough instructions. Highly recommend Cottonwood.

My friend brought her puppy in to have her tail amputated a few weeks back. No local anesthesia was administered to the puppy which resulted in immense pain for the sweet girl for days on end. Not to mention the ‘unexplainable’ knot on her head (our suspicion is abuse from the vets). If you care for your pet’s well being DO NOT bring them to this clinic.

We didn’t actually see this veterinarian, but they did give us some solid advice on our cat Ringo when he had stomach issues. We took their advice and he is doing just fine now. Just a diet change did the trick. They were most helpful!

We have been using Cottonwood creek exclusively since they opened. After our previous vet could not make a house call for colic.
They have provided excellent care for our horse, cattle, goats as well as our dogs and cats. There pricing is as good or better than most Vets in the area and Dr. Andrew gives back financially to the kids in FFA and 4H come sale time. These guys are also great about getting you in with very little notice.

After trying a couple of veterinary offices in Waco eye fun Cottonwood Creek is really great the only thing I didn't understand is a walking field $25, I have 19 cats - who can afford this!!
Then one of my cats who have thyroid issues, I took the cat in for a check up and rabies. I needed a prescription for her thyroid pills. I called them back a couple of weeks later only to be told that I needed to bring her in for a check up before a prescription could be given. I was rather upset at this!
I do like the services they offer and its not too far from where I live and they take the CareCredit

This was my poodle puppy's first visit to this vet as well as my first time, and I left extremely happy with their services. I could tell they were pretty overwhelmed and busy at the time we arrived, but everyone at the front was very friendly and trying their best to accommodate every phone call, check in, and check out happening at that moment. They were so sweet to every animal that came through their doors, and handled my very nervous (and very squirmy) puppy with the utmost care. They also answered my nervous first time dog owner questions with so much respect, no matter how ridiculous

I encourage anyone that truly love their pets... dogs, cats , birds .. go else where! Dr Heather turned me away very fast!!! Like telling me go see a bird specialist, after I told her how I was there with Dr Horne less than 24 hours... so I called the other hospital in grapevine.... they were very happy to see us made me feel like they could help!!! Whom ever I spoke with at that hospital was so kind and caring... she knew I lived in Waco and said why don't you call that vet back again... and ask her if she can do some oxygen treatments and nebulizer treatments ... so I did . Dr Heather called

My dog(dachshund) was hit on a Friday evening and had to stay the weekend(Sat & Sun) at the clinic while we made plans for his back leg. We were told his boarding fee plus pain meds would be $500-600, we picked him up as soon as they opened Monday and the price was $1100. There are lots of hidden fees and the clinic was not upfront about them until it was time to pay. IMO glad we drove to Georgetown to have his leg saved for the same amount they wanted to remove his leg at Cottonwood.

After ordering tests, no one called us with the results -- we went months without hearing anything until a past-due bill came in the mail! The staff offered no resolution to failing to communicate in a timely manner, they never gave us any indication of the price of the tests, and even though they had phone numbers and email on file, they never contacted us. When it came to medication, they sold us a $150, 50 lb bag of antibiotics -- we needed less than 1 ounce to medicate the entire flock! That's 1/10th of 1%!

Overall, this place is disappointing at almost every turn. Overmedication

We love this clinic and the staff. I have taken both of my dogs here, a Bassett hound and a yorkiepoo. They are always kind and courteous. They are very gentle with my animals and take the time to talk with me to let me know what is going on and course of treatment.

I boarded my dogs at their kennel recently. They required an influenza vaccine which my dogs do not regularly get at our vet. I agreed to do it there at the kennel for a price of $38 each. I paid my kennel bill when I picked my dogs up and thought it was done - except I received a bill for $116 from this clinic the next week. It was frustrating to get another bill for the same service, but I completely understand that the vaccine would come from the vet office across the way and not the kennel (same owners, though). What I don't understand is that this bill also includes an extra $40

Your website says you open at 7:30 but when you arrive you're told doctors aren't in til 9a. Very misleading. Might want to edit your website and have better customer service. Very disappointing. People read your website and plan accordingly with their pets and calling yourself a hospital is misleading as well.

I've been to many vets for animals small and large. This is my favorite! They are courteous and caring. They give you their undivided attention instead of treating you like a nuisance. They go out of their way to take care of you and your animals. I've loved every experience with them because of it and those experiences have been from shots for dogs to stitching up horses and debuding goats and everything between.

This is hands down the best vet clinic in the area. The vets are very knowledgeable with the French Bulldog breed and they are capable of handling any emergency services needed. This is a true full service, adequately staffed vet hospital and they always take the time to properly diagnose and treat your animals. Reasonable pricing for the quality of care they provide. I will never take my animals anywhere else!

Do not come here if you have a chicken sick with something else besides worms. No point. You're just throwing away hundreds of dollars for an "I don't know, have some antibiotics."
First chicken ($60): $45 just for coming in and $15 for a fecal float test. "I don't know, just give him some antibiotics".
Second chicken ($75): they decided to increase their prices, don't know why. I was also given an "I don't know" and she died a month later.
Third chicken ($100): finally decided to give me antibiotics only because they thought they would lose
