Our firm takes pride in ensuring all clients who come to us for advice are given the information they need to make informed decisions about their legal options. No matter where you live in Iowa, we can help. Since 1975, we have helped hundreds of injured Iowans make financial recoveries from injuries.
Unfortunately, in the last 40 years, we have seen far too many hardworking Iowans make costly mistakes before they hired us because clients did not know about their rights and responsibilities under Iowa law. While you may not need an attorney in your case, you should at least learn about your rights and responsibilities so you can avoid making a costly mistake.

Services
Walker, Billingsley & Bair is an Iowa four attorney firm with more than 100 years of combined experience with an emphasis on personal service. Each year, we accept a limited number of cases from the hundreds of people who ask us to represent them. We are not a "mill" law firm and our paralegals and assistants do not negotiate our cases.
Take away the stress in dealing with the insurance company and wondering if you are doing the right things in your case. 2. Protect Your Rights and do everything in our power to see you are treated fairly by getting the medical care you need in a timely fashion and that you are paid the compensation you deserve.
Are You Searching for an Iowa Law Firm That Can Answer Questions Regarding Your Injury Case?. There are plenty of law firms in Des Moines, Iowa for personal injury and workers compensation cases. Our firm takes pride in ensuring all Iowa residents who come to us for advice are given the information they need to make informed decisions about their legal options.
These are great questions and ones that the insurance adjustor is not likley to answer for you so we will answer them for you at no cost or risk. Note: the insurance adjustor is not required to help you and does not even have to tell you the truth. Iowa's workers' compensation program is complex and can be difficult to understand.
1. CONTINUE TO TREAT IF YOU ARE STILL IN PAIN: If you decide to stop seeing your doctor because you hope or think you will get better on your own, you have made a mistake. If you fail to see a doctor regularly then in the eyes of the insurance company and perhaps a judge or jury you must be fine. While do not need or want to go see a doctor every day, you do need to see your doctors every few weeks and tell them if you are still having problems.

Corey Walker was great and easy to work with. After being mistreated by my employer's work comp carrier, I sought legal representation. I spoke with multiple attorneys in my area and it became clear they considered Corey one of the best in his field. I felt like Corey was truthful with me the entire time, giving me his honest and professional opinions about my situation. He was open to answering all of my questions and did a good job of explaining the entire process I had to go through. Corey returned my calls and my emails, I never felt like I was left in the dark. If you find yourself in a situation

For many years Beth Walker has handled the details of my guardianship of my sister for me and my brother. I don't know what we would have done without her help when a different lawyer left us in a mess. She has been professional but also understanding and has worked with us and our needs. This firm is great I would highly recommend them.

Debbie Durant handled the closing of a home we purchased without using a realtor. Debbie was wonderful to work with. She answered all questions, explained everything and completed the process seamlessly. I would recommend Debbie and Walker, Billingsley & Bair Law firm. Thank you Debbie for making purchasing our new home a pleasant experience.

Beth Walker was there when I felt my life was crashing down. She was very professional and responsive, even from the start of the initial consultation. Throughout the entire process, the office's communication was very detailed and timely. Clear throughout the end during the day of court, Beth assured me she handled everything and I didn't need to do anything further. HIGHLY recommend Walker law office for all needs!

I recently worked with the Walker, Billingsley and Bair law firm to redo my Will, Power of Attorney and Durable Power of Attorney for Healthcare Decisions documents. Attorney Kathryn (Beth) Walker was great to work with. The process was easy and the documents were ready very quickly. Everyone in the office was very friendly and accommodating. They gave me extra copies and also shredded my old documents. I will definitely refer my friends and family.

I had a will created here and the process was very smooth. Beth was great, asking questions I hadn’t thought of before and offering some thoughts on how to manage our wealth should something happen while our kids are young. I really appreciated her insight.
Not only that, but the office graciously held my drafted will for a year. My husband and I had them drafted just before COVID and forgot to return to sign them and make it official. I wondered if we would need to meet with Beth again and make another draft but our papers were all there waiting for us when I finally remembered and signed!
