You should have your teeth checked and cleaned at least twice a year, though your dentist or dental hygienist may recommend more frequent visits. I am still somewhat of a new patient here. I have been in 3 times and each time I have felt very comfortable. Dr. Sam Soltani is a true professional. He respects the patients time and gets straight to the point which I personally appreciate very much. He helped me to come up with a plan to get my teeth back in order, and I could not be any happier with sea cliff dental.

My experience with getting extractions and implants was good. I received prescriptions for antibiotics and pain meds after the procedures, and I filled them right away, which was good, since l really needed relief once the numbing went away! The next morning I got a call asking how I was doing, which was nice.

I have been a patient since 2014, and my experience today was the worst I have encountered throughout this 7 year duration.
I came in for a check up as I felt that the aligners (that were installed last week) were becoming loose and the brackets looked worn down. I understand that I may be overreacting to a new orthodontic treatment, but both the dental assistant (brunette with Russian accent who attended to me first before the doctor had a look), and doctor Aslani could have first checked the brackets instead of choosing a route of condescension - only to realize later upon inspection that one

I got a text from them yesterday reminding me that it was time for my check up, booked an appointment for today, and was in and out with x-rays and a cleaning in 40 minutes.
Friendly efficient service is what I value, so five stars!

Bummed I didn't make the switch to this dental office sooner!! It's definitely way better than what it used to be when it was ocean view dental. The staff was very welcoming and friendly and talked me through everything. The hygienist and the dentist walk through the images thoroughly and showed me everything on the tv screen above me. They provided goggles for me to wear as they know the light can be bright while lying back. When I met with the dentist it didn't feel rushed as it sometimes feels at other practices. The hygienist was extremely thorough and didn't sugarcoat anything

Great experience here! I recently got 3 extractions done and it went perfectly. The staff was very friendly and made sure I was comfortable throughout the whole process. Dr. Syrus and Darren handled everything professionally and got the job done. They made it smooth sailing and gave constant cues that had me relaxed the whole time. Would definitely come back to this spot! The location is a great spot in San Francisco being next to the beach. Do not hesitate in coming to this office!

I would give no stars, if yelp had that option. One of the worst dentists I have ever been to. I came in to get one of my tooth checked because the side of my jaw was throbbing and the dentist told me to take some Tylenol and pray to god that it goes away. I asked if he wanted a new X-ray because they had my old X-ray from a year prior and the dentist said there was no need. How does one diagnose a patient without taking a X-ray? Things can change in a year for a X-ray. I will never go back to this dentist ever again.

I think it's safe to say that the majority of people dread going to the dentist. I myself am not the biggest fan. But ever since I started coming to Seacliff Dental it's been a breeze. The check ins are easy, the front desk is super helpful, all the workers there make you feel like you're a priority and they have hands down the best customer service you can ask for. The wildest part is I felt comfortable in the chair the entire time. No discomfort. They made sure to check in throughout my appointment to make sure I was doing okay. Honestly, criminal.
I was told I needed 14 fillings, required a deep cleaning, had "not great" gums, and lacked enamel due to grinding my teeth.
I just got a second opinion and was told I require 3 fillings, but am in otherwise good condition. Gums are healthy, no evidence of grinding, enamel is intact. My third opinion stated the same.
The staff is extremely friendly, but that does not make up for this type of misinformation. I recommend EVERYONE get a second opinion before booking an appointment. Not solely with this office, but with dentists in general. I also highly recommend

I've been coming here for the past few years and have been very happy with their services and Dr. Sam Soltani is great!
I needed a bridge replacement last year and although my final appointment had to be postponed (due to covid), they contacted me as soon as they were able to accommodate me for the final fitting.
Also, since my insurance only covers one cleaning per year, SeaCliff only charges $50 for the second 6-month cleaning. That's a steal in my book!

This glowing review is mostly for Jan, one of the receptionists. The first time I came was for a teeth cleaning and x-rays. X-rays were done first. I didn't get the x-ray tech's name, but he was great. Explained the purpose of x-rays and guided me through the process. I have a small mouth, so I hate dental x-rays. However, the x-ray tech made it such an easy process and made it as uncomfortable as possible.
Cleaning was quick. The technology was something I never experienced before, so it was interesting. They definitely use newer equipment than the places I've been. Dr. Aslani
