I have been renting with this company for the last 3 years. When it was a smaller operation things were much more consistent and easily communicated across the board, the old saying of if you want something done right, do it yourself. Ben goes above and beyond to ensure the properties are secure and taken care of. I have rented two different units at two different properties.
After buying my first home unexpectedly, (the day after getting preapproved), I gave 30 days notice I would be moving out. We paid the entire early term fee that same day. Upon doing so we were told if a tenant was found

After spending 2.5 days completely detailing our apartment from top to bottom, I was so disappointed to find out Benco charged us a $160 cleaning fee. Maybe they do this to everyone no matter how spotless it is... Sure it's only $160, but to a small, young family, it means a lot. :(
Hopefully Benco can look into correcting their move-out policies.
That said- Lavender was an absolute pleasure to work with, we were lucky to have someone so prompt, professional and accommodating.

Benco has been a great management company to rent from! They bought the building I lived in from Capital Property Management and have improved the place tremendously, are quick to respond to maintenance problems, very friendly and kind and give out really good chocolate on holidays (not a reason to choose a rental company, but it shows they care). I just bought my own place and moved out, and not only were they helpful in that process, but did not give me angst about the security deposit. Usually renters get dinged for tiny things, and they gave me my whole deposit back. I would definitely rent

Denise went above and beyond as our real estate broker. When we first met with Denise and sat down with her, she listened very closely and then told us she thought she had the perfect location for us. She called the broker for that space right away and set up a time to take us there to see it. After looking at many other locations, we came back to this initial one as THE one! I used Denise to help me negotiate a lease that was going nowhere. I was getting a lot of push back from the buildings leasing company. She saved me a lot of time and money. I do this every 10 years, she does this ALL the time. Why would you not use a professional since the landlord pays them? Great experience. I will definitely use them when we buy a building when my lease is up.

If I could put negative stars I would!!! DO NOT use Denise Brohoski! She will waste your time. We made an appt. a week ago to see 6 properties for lease tomorrow, Friday AND a commercial property to buy with a budget of $1.2 million! But I guess this was not a big enough sale for her to waste her time on!. I tried 7 or 8 times to contact her through email and phone and text and she NEVER contacted me back! She wasted my time and $500 of my money! I am self employed and every day that I don't work costs my company $500 and I have to hire someone to take over. She actually sent me an email today
