Set on 650 feet of pristine Gulf front beach, the old Harbor House restaurant was purchased in 1993 by Ed Chiles. His vision of a moderately priced restaurant serving great seafood both indoors and outdoors transformed into what is the Beach House Restaurant.
Throughout the process of the renovations which were completed in the Spring of 2017, the mantra of "be a good steward of the environment" echoed from the construction to the menu and beyond.The Beach House is a model for environmental friendly development and operations. During the renovations, the Beach House was equipped with an on-site bakery so that we could provide our guests with the freshest and most unique flavors to enhance their dining experience with us. Head Baker Teddy Louloudes creates the amazing baked goods at the Beach House. Running two shifts a day, the on-site bakery produces nearly all of the breads that you enjoy at the Beach House.
Let's start with a stunning waterfront view, 700 feet of white sandy beach and one of the largest gulf-front decks on the west coast of Florida. Add the perfect combination of an all-weather deck with private pavilion, your very own bridal suite, award-winning culinary choices and a multitude of beach, deck and indoor dining options.

Great view, good food, friendly staff. Drinks were alittle pricey but that's the case at most places. Our server Steve was friendly & efficient. All seating is outdoors either on the deck or toes in the sand. There was a tent covering the area where we were seated. We went for lunch around noon & most tables were filled by the time we left. We will definitely be back & take our out of town guests as well.

I had delicious gumbo. Tacos, fried shrimp and fish of the day rounded out our meals. The restaurant was packed but the diners moved from waiting to satisfied. Our server, Dan, did a great job. No request went untended. The weather was gorgeous, the food delicious and service, from the whole team, was superb. I will go back and recommend that you do, also!

Great spot to grab a good meal with a view. Really one of the best restaurant locations in the area. The outdoor patio opens to the beach which is not only amazing view but also good for young kids to have a place to play.
Excellent food. The pork belly tacos were a huge serving size. Try the Bloody Mary as well.
Friendly staff and kudos to this restaurant as they are one of the few in the area with staff wearing masks. This is a responsible measure and frankly makes me want to revisit here versus other restaurants with staff not in masks in the area.

We had a great experience at the Beach House restaurant and will definitely be returning! I ordered the chicken sandwich but after seeing the lunch menu I wanted to change my order to the reuben. The waiter said she already placed the order but would double check for me, and I said no big deal if not. When the food came out I got what I wanted, not that I would have been upset if I didn't - but that is the kind of customer service I'm looking for at a restaurant! The customer service wasn't limited to the wait staff either. The host finding out it was our first time there gave us a little tour

Me and my now wife had planned to get married in October 2020 at the beach house. We live in illinois as well as our family, extended family and friends.
When covid hit we weren't sure what the situation would be especially with the wedding date coming closer and covid getting worse by the day. Restaurant closings and capacity limits being put in place all over the country. Dinner and a Wedding? Just as I arrived at the Beach House for dinner a storm hit the Island. I ordered their specialty tropical drink and an appetizer of calamari and maranera sauce. I sat for awhile and waited and then when my server didn't return I asked for my check. The manager came over and apologized saying they had an issue and after offering to pick up my drink and appetizer then asked if I would like to order dinner. I ordered shrimp and thin spaghetti. The restaurant has a outdoor seating area on the sand which is lovely except if it’s too hot and muggy. We ate outside near the bar, they had fans and misters on. It was a hot day and evening. The wait was about 30 minutes, but they sat us quicker, I think we got there right before the busy wave. Had a mango margarita which was so well made!! Truly enjoyed it on a hot day! My husband was super happy with his seafood pasta! I had the fried gulf shrimp also delicious and my children had the fried grouper. We were all satisfied with our meals :) the bathrooms

I was invited to a wedding here at this venue which is literally right on the beach. We had the actual wedding on thr beach and thankfully there were security to make sure random shirtless strangers wouldn't come to close to the ceremony. We then were moved to a private outdoor beach area w/seating. There was a buffet set up on the sand area. The staff was friendly and accommodating along with the young female blond manager. We asked for them to turn on the fans bc it was so bot which helped. The food was pretty good and was re stocked promptly as well. Altogether it was a fun experience!

My husband and I got married here on 9/9/18. It was such a great experience!! Shawn the events coordinator was a delight to work with! She made everything so easy!! From the rehearsal the day before, to the wedding and reception, we had a perfect experience!! The food was amazing!! The service was impeccable!! The drinks were amazing also! So sad to write a bad review as my husband and I were married here. Seems like since the renovation food and service has taken a complete decline!! Not to mention how expensive everything is now. We were there a couple of weeks ago and I wrote an email to the manager expressing my concerns with the service. He quickly apologized and offered to send a gift card that was of course never received. I guess I will just keep the good memories of this place in my wedding photo album because I unfortunately will never return! My husband and I eloped here. Shawn, the sweet lady who helped with our wedding plans, was perfect with everything. We had originally planned for a family kind of wedding but as a lot of unforeseen circumstances had happened, she was accommodating enough to still allow our wedding day happen, even that it was just my husband and I. The view is AMAZING. It has everything a beach wedding should have- palm trees, major rocks, beautiful greenery, white sand, tiki/wooden style restaurant, on the beach, and sunset. It has EVERYTHING that will make your beach wedding photographs AMAZING. I highly recommend
