Nice quiet rooms. Balcony was a little tilted, and so that felt weird. Great view, and a short walk to the beach.

We were going to get to town late and on our reservation it said to call ahead to make plans if you were going to be there past 11. We called over a dozen times and no one picked up. We had to call the hotel next to gold beach to see if they could also get ahold of them. With no luck and us not wanting to lose our money or reservation, we sped the whole way down the coast to get here a few minutes before 11. Turns out they close up shop at 9 and didn't update that on their website or call us and let us know that they had made other arrangements.

So that's two strikes from us and on top

"Ocean view" is certainly a misnomer. Our "balcony " was about 2 feet wide and you couldn't see the ocean. The worst part was the two flights of stairs up to the room covered with ragged indoor/outdoor carpet looking like a broken neck waiting to happen. The room was okay and the hosts were very nice. Walked down to the beach past a derelict sauna/spa. The place needs work.

Their website includes "End the day with a relaxing dip in one of our three beach facing hot tubs". Even though there is a disclaimer, these tubs are in complete disrepair and until they are an actual amenity "highlighting" them is misleading. "Come back to a tasty complimentary breakfast" is also disappointing, regardless of their disclaimer. We were on the road for over two weeks all throughout the Pacific Northwest and stayed in numerous locations. Everywhere we went, where a complimentary breakfast was offered, hotels were being COVID safe, creative and hospitable

DO NOT STAY HERE Right out of an Ozark Episode! This place is horrible. They are at 10% capacity. Management lied about being full. The hot tubs in the pictures are so overgrown with bushes, they haven't been open for a long time. We have a room over the lobby and laundry room, when they have 80% of rooms open and we requested a ocean front room. No hair dryer, no sugar or cream for the coffee. Had to ask for a second set of towels and washcloths. Stains on the sheets and walls are paper thin. Very frustrated at this point!

I have been Travelling a lot lately and I was very pleasantly surprised on the high quality, modern, clean and very spacious room I got for such a reasonably low price at the Gold Beach Inn. The view is beautiful and I can actually hear the ocean. There is a adequately equipped kitchen and I was able to prepare a meal in it. The bed is comfy. There is plenty of outlets (I hate it when you have to unplug a lamp or clock to plug in your CPAP machine). Plenty of different lights and lamps to choose (not just overhead). A desk that you can sit at and journal or use your laptop. A nice flatscreen with

DISGUSTING!!

Do not stay here!!!!!

This is what our new sheets and pillow cases look liked after we called and had them bring us new ones... absolutely disgusting, especially during Covid where places should be extra clean. Very unacceptable.

I will update if we get bedbugs, I'm sure we will so be ready for my update and picture. UGH.

No WiFi - False advertising - Apathetic customer service

Checked into my room an hour before an important Zoom meeting and couldn't get on the wifi.

Called the front desk, which had me go through a number of different logins and passcodes - none of which worked. I was told that the problem was being worked on. Well, it wasn't and I missed my meeting. No follow-up from the front desk, which never notified management.

When checking out, spoke with the manager, who commented, "Oh, that's an old router in that building." What? Is that MY problem? Why was "free wifi

Worse experience ever. Ceilings are extremely thin so you can hear everything. When i contacted the front desk, the Hotel guy didn't even care. No discounts. The bathroom door doesn't Stay Shut due to being broken. Needs better Management and Night Crew Worker. Not once was our room cleaned, we weren't given enough towels, fridge didnt keep anything cold and the room was invested with ANTS! NOT RECOMMENDED HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED

Awful. The room was 82 degrees F when we checked in... when I called the desk about this, the woman told me that "it gets toasty in the office too" and to just open a window. Woken up after midnight because it is still so warm - the thermostat read 79 degrees!! This time when I called to ask for a. Fan, no one picked up. Two thumbs down! It's close to the beach, but I hate this hotel!!!

This place is run by the same owners as Ireland's rustic lodge. It appears that they may have just started renovations before covid broke. The interior of the room was mostly new with nice furniture and looks like the pictures shown, but had not been completed. Nice, new black-out drapes covered the window to the common corridor, but a small window near the ceiling had no covering at all. It was directly opposite the bed, so the early morning light was directly in our eyes long before we intended to wake. That particular window was filthy and appeared to be falling apart as well with the frame

I have come here 4 times in the past 5 years and the main hotel rooms are decent especially that they have been upgrading them now.

As for the condos... stay far far away. Recently had a condo with 3 beds from them. It was from their Ireland Rustic Lodge which is now owned by Gold Beach Inn.

Found dead bugs on carpet, dog hairs all over the couch and literally no lights around the condo making it very scary for the kids and unsafe in general.

The front door main lock was also broken hanging by a thread it seemed.

I brought these things up
To the front desk and I was told that these properties

Mixed feelings about GBI. I'm upstairs in the main unit with a pretty sweet ocean view. There's a private balcony, a couple of lounge chairs, a new large flatscreen, two queens, a fridge and microwave in the closet for only $119 off-season midweek. Hard to beat that as a value proposition.

Bearing in mind that price point, you wouldn't accuse the room of being up to date. One of the mattresses is in good shape, the other is not. The recliners kind of work and they smell bad.

But there's that $119 price point. WiFi is great, two sinks in the bathroom, and so what if it&apos
