Dr. Tamara Gutierrez is a native to Las Vegas, Nevada. She graduated from University of Nevada, Las Vegas with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. Dr. Gutierrez then furthered her education at Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN. She completed externships at Mike O'Callahan Hospital at Nellis Air Force Base and Total Eye Care - a clinic specializing in glaucoma in Memphis, TN.
Proper eye care is important for people of all ages and regular eye exams are encouraged for everyone, but especially for those already using glasses or contact lenses. Your vision plays a vital role in your life each and every day, which is why it is so important to take the right steps for maintaining good eye health.
At Elite Eye Care, we invite you to see the difference. Your experience will begin with a complete eye examination with Dr. Gutierrez or Dr Gonzalez. We will educate you about your overall ocular health. We will then customize an eyewear or contact lens package just for you. Before moving to Las Vegas in 2020, I've been to optometrists in Pittsburgh Pa, and Los Angeles Ca - one of them was someone I would consider world class. This is the other one I would say that about.
Elite Eye Care is as good as it gets.
I wear progressive lens and if they're not fitted well, they aren't any good. Mike is one of only two people who got it right. It makes such a difference if you have people who really know what they're doing. The entire staff is highly competent. And nothing is more reassuring than competence....

I have been going to this dr for years. Never asked for anything however I just bought a pair of glasses that I'm EXTREMELY unhappy with and called to see what I could do to get something different. Absolutely nothing. Stuck with these. They will be thrown in a draw for emergencies while I continue to wear my old ones and search for a new eye dr.

I went to my normal Optometrist for my prescription and unfortunately, although helpful they had a short selection for frames. I came down the street to Elite Eye Care, where in total I was helped by 3 employees ensuring that I had the perfect experience. I wish I was better with names so these individuals could receive the proper praise. In the two hours I was there, indecisive as always, they worked around me and worked on all the back end stuff as I sat trying to pick which frame I wanted. The woman who helped me towards the end even went over features of my Vision Insurance that no one has

I've found Elite Eye Care when I first moved here from Hawaii. This was 2 years ago. I actually found them on Yelp believe it or not. They looked clean and well put together so I gave it a shot.
They did not disappoint. All of the staff there are very friendly. Nice and welcoming. I've had glasses since I was 7 and contacts ever since I was able to learn how to put them on lol. So I'm pretty picky when it comes to the people who help me with my prescriptions.

My family has been coming to them for years the staff has been wonderful same staff for years now they know me by my name when I go walking in even without an appointment that speaks volumes of they don't have a turnover of Staff as they are all very knowledgeable and very friendly the doctors are excellent there I'm a very difficult patient because of my autoimmune disease and she was very knowledgeable and help me out

Have been going here for a couple years now. My daughter and I always get the best service. Super friendly, very clean and I appreciate that they take their time with us. Mike is very knowledgeable and so friendly. He is there to help pick out new frames as well as fix or clean your current set. He's direct and honest, love that especially when I'm trying on new frames. Love this place.

I drive all the way across town to go to this office every year. The staff is amazing! They are friendly and very knowledgeable. I have had 3 different doctors over my 3 visits and they are all thorough and made me comfortable. They all took time to answer all of my questions. I went here for my first ever pair of glasses and now contacts. I definitely recommend this place especially if your new to eye care like me, and if your not you can be in and out real quick like my wife when she needs a new prescription.
Never had a long wait to be seen even when I called for a same day appointment. The team has been amazingly patient with me even when I'm blinking during imaging and learning to use contacts. I recently went into Elite Eye Care because I had broken my glasses and was in desperate need of a new pair. Jocelyn and Jenny took the time to help me try on all kinds of different colors and styles to find the right pair for me. I ended up getting two pairs at a great price because they pointed out an awesome deal they had going on. They were glasses I never would have gone for without them urging me to try them and I am absolutely in LOVE with them! Dr. Gutierrez always finds solutions for my concerns with my vision. She is also always up to date with the latest eyeglass lenses and contacts for my eyes. I am basically legally blind and she managed to give me 20/20 vision! The office staff are always friendly. They are experts in adjusting my frames to my face. My appointments are always on time and quick. Her office also offers a variety of fashionable eyewear. She has been my doctor for more than 5 years. I would highly recommend her!

Came in to Elite Eye Care recently for an overdue annual eye exam. Overall First Class experience - everyone at the front desk was super professional and courteous. Every time I interacted with the team members, I was helped on a first-name basis.
Dr. Gutierrez was very informative about the health of my eye during each step of the exam and contact lens fitting process. Answered all my questions thoroughly and provided excellent suggestions for improving my vision. It is very clear she is a leader in the industry.

Hands down the best Optical office in town! I’ve been going to Dr Gonzalez for about 5 years now. She’s very personable and full of knowledge! Takes time to listen to my concerns and ensures that I leave a satisfied patient with 20/20 vision! All of the office staff is phenomenal! I love their selection of frames in all the latest fashions. Very clean office with all the newest equipment. Can’t rave about this place & the doctors enough!

We have been part of the Elite Eye Care family for more than 5 years. Both Dr. G's are professional, personable and never make you feel rushed. The staff is exceptional - they miraculously remember us by name (even without an appointment), give honest opinions regarding frame selection and are extremely patient. They were even kind enough to help my dad with his eyeglass frames even though he hadn't purchased them there. If you want to be treated like family, go to Elite. You won't be sorry!

Appointment. Although I did not like their selections of glasses at all. They barely had anything that was simple, black and plain that fit comfortably for me. I ended up buying Gucci but wanted Ray Bans. I'm not happy with what I bought, but whatever.

Was having problems with blurry vision and heavy glare/sensitivity at night. Called and made an appointment and was able to get one about 2 weeks out. They are open on the weekends but always open at 9. (Wish they were open Earlier/later for those of us who want to come before Work or after work because it feels like you have to take a 1/2 day off to see any provider
