Analisa Arosemena, MD is board-certified by the American Academy of Ophthalmology. Dr. Arosemena completed two fellowships, one in ophthalmology and the second in glaucoma/anterior segment, at Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, Louisiana. She completed a transitional internship at Tulane University School of Medicine and a rural internship at Policlinica Santiago Barraza in Chorrera, Republic of Panama.

I have been taking my mother here for years. It is a complete nightmare. They over book intentionally and it is quite sad as 90% of patients are elderly and they make them wait for hours. It's just horrible and the customer service at the front desk are so rude and not remotely interested in providing any help or try to help patients. It is so sad that in this country and with paid healthcare this is allowed to happen.

I've been taking my elderly father to the Miramar office to his appointments since 2020 because he stopped driving. It's extremely difficult to call and get someone on the phone to make an appointment or to change an appointment. I've been to the website to see if I can make an appointment and it's not available. I tried making the appointment while in the office after my father was seen by doctor and the person at front desk said she'll call me back to make appointment but never received a call. The way this office works is they assign you an appointment at whatever date

After the specialist's appointment, about 3 or 4 weeks later, I had to call when I went to the app to check my husband's lens on October 14, they had given me an appointment for surgery at the Santa Lucia clinic and there according to me They reported They do not put a lens. Now my husband's appointment was given to them for February 2022. Very bad coordination many clinics and they do not work at the same time I do not recommend them.

Very disappointed in Aran Eye Associates. They never answer the phone, nor do they return phone calls. They reschedule appoints and never tell their patients. My mother has had her eye surgery schedule twice and was never told of the cancellation until she showed up for what she though was surgery day. Their treatment of the elderly is unacceptable. Find somewhere else for treatment. These people are a joke and do not care about their elderly patients.

I am not rating the doctors at Aran Eye Associates. I am rating how frustrating it is to get through to anyone there. No matter what department you ask for never an answer. If you need to talk with someone with regards to scheduling or changing an appointment it is pretty much impossible. No one is ever available. Your call for an appointment is taken (in my case) to an answering service in Virginia and it takes weeks for a return call which never happens. What kind of service is this! I am still waiting for a call regarding my mother’s rescheduling appointment that I needed to change for her

We have a medical question that can not wait 72 hours, like I was told. The office staff should not have to receive verbal abuse by frustrated patients, like us. This is a disgrace to say the least. We have a procedure scheduled for next week. Which will be canceled. I hope you heed the warning.

The staff is nice but they really need to do better at managing their appointments, especially considering that they're mainly catering to the elderly. I take my dad for his appointments and we never leave sooner than 2 HOURS AFTER! He has bad joints and issues with restlessness in his limbs. So for him to have to sit there for hours at a time when he has an appointment, makes no sense to me. Again, the staff is courteous and the doctor does a good job, but it's ludacris to ALWAYS be so far behind with their appointments.

Took 3 months to get an appointment, then after showing up to the confirmed appointment, they re-scheduled for next week. On the side note I just had hip surgery, so is not the easiest to just going for no reason. On my new appointment date, I show up on time, fill out all the paperwork, then half an hour later they said my authorization expired 3 days earlier! Total disorganization, people speak spanish to you in the office, never mind the patient does NOT speak spanish. AVOID!

If I could give the Miramar office a zero I would. The entire office is unorganized. After sitting for an hour and 10 minutes in the waiting area the receptionist call me to the window and advised that my mother-n-law needed a referral. Tell me Why when someone calls to verify your appointment referrals aren't addressed (If needed, if they received it)? This Place is always packed like sardines. Every visit you see a different doctor. Entire staff is incompetent and no one cares.

ANYTHING IS BETTER THAN THIS! DO NOT ever recommend this place to your FAMILY! I help my grandmother when she has to come here so I can honestly say from firsthand experience how they treat people here. Nobody helps the elderly. All of the patients there are treated like cattle and scooted out without being able to get a question answered they cut you off mid sentence. I had to help an elderly lady who was completely blind find the bathroom because none of the staff was willing to walk her. When her name was called I mentioned she was in the bathroom and she soon came out, I walked her to the front

If i could give 0 stars I woukd. First took me over 3 hours to get someone on the phone to make a appoimtment. I had a referral sent over prior to my appointment . I asked not once but 3 times if they did contact fitments for Ketrokonus. I was assured they did . Only to be informed when i checked in at the front desk they do not do tnhat type of exam , not only did I wast 3 weeks waiting for my appointment but wasted $50.00 on lyft fare roundtrip, The absolute worse experience ebver in my life , And they really did care or appoligize for their mistakes

There is no organization at Aran. I was in there for 5.5 hrs for a simple eye exam which could have been done in 30 minutes. Also the language gap is so harsh and not understandable I did not get half of what they were saying and when I asked for a translator I was treated with disgust. My advise if you are not Latino THIS IS THE WRONG PLACE for you. I feel I was totally mistreated. Also the phone is never answered not even an emergency. I would give this place a negetive 5 stars DO NOT GO HERE UNLESS YOU ARE CUBAN

I had an eye emergency went to bascom palmer for treatment was referred back to this place by my pvp i went to first appointment at 2 st and le juene dr was very rude hardly spoke to me rushed tru my exam told me to keep taking meds but gave me no rx. my condition got worse then i went as emergency to the 10 st lejuene office dr there told me to discontinue all my meds wel three days later Ibhad to rush back to bascom plamer because I vould not see out of the effected eye and I was asked why I discontinued my meds well i am now restarzed on my treatment and I am able to see better I cringe at

The lady who is answering the calls is very rude with her tone of voice, the elderly are sensitive and she is dismissive, cuts them off and is impatient. Doesn't she have any elderly in her family? It is very sad to see your elderly family be treated with such disrespect and zero amiability. Whatever stress she is going through should not affect her customer service. Really awful attention from this center I am very disappointed. (Also if you don't know the extension is impossible to get in contact with them) if I could give a negative number of starts I would. I suggest you do some changes

My review for Aran comes as an indirect consumer, since my mom's been the one getting treatment. But since I've accompanied her to the surgeries and spoken with the doctors, I believe I have the right to speak out.
Most of the positive stars come from the fact that Mima's vision has markedly improved. Dr. Walls and Dr. Masvidal, as well as their residents, appear to have great book knowledge and excellent bedside manner. Dr. Walls in particular has taken his time to explain the procedures as clearly as you can and even getting technical with me. Bravo! As far as non-medical personnel

If u can see well enough to read this beware! We had a terrible experience and my father partially lost his eyesight because of dr mansur's terrible work and practice. No doctor performs surgery without a follow up the next day. Especially on ur eyes.
