Eye care professionals specialize in understanding how the human eye really works, as well as diseases and conditions that affect your vision - many of which do not have obvious symptoms. Eye doctors know how age and risk factors affect vision over time for young and old, and they understand the benefits and features of corrective lenses including eyeglasses and contacts.
The cost of routine eye exams and prescription eyewear can be of real concern, especially for large families. In many cases, a vision insurance can lower these annual expenses. Because we provide both medical and routine eye care, we accept a number of insurance plans to help cover the cost depending on your individual needs.

My last couple of eye care practitioners haven't been too great, and so with Yelp's (and my vision insurance's) help I chose Clarin Eye Care Center. Having lived in South Dade for many years, I'd known they'd been around awhile, and patronizing local businesses like theirs is important. There was a slight wait, about a week or so, to come in for an appointment, but since it wasn't an emergency, this wasn't a problem. I came for an eye irritation I received treatment which I followed ... on the follow up appointment I mentioned the doctor just the redness improved but I still had the discomfort and she told me to continue the same treatment.. up to today nothing has changed. I wasted my money ... I had to do another appointment with another doctor for the untreated illness

The staff is helpful and professional.
My experience was not 100% perfect as my order for sunglasses was not done correctly.
They stepped up and fixed it.
The reason for the 3 stars is that As part of the fix, they set an expectation which they did not deliver. It’s fine if things aren’t perfect, but when a commitment is made to a customer it must be adhere to without the customer having to follow up.
To be clear, their service was good and I still recommend their service.
My issue is that it after waiting 4 weeks for them to deliver on what they had initially promised and as of this writing

Excellent! Honestly from the very first phone call and talking with the super friendly and helpful front desk, to getting seen by Dr. Clarin there is nothing negative I can say. He was able connected with my 9 year old son with sports and gaming references. Looks like we have found our family eye doctor!

While we didn't get our glasses there, we were impressed with the great service. Very friendly, knowledgable and professional. They may not have the cheapest price, but neither are they pricey, and it's worth supporting a business who cares about the best interest of the customers rather than making money.
They have set up several desks in the store, and once you "check in" at their customer service counter, they will direct you to one of the service desks where their staff can help you, to select your glasses or answer your questions, and then on to see the doctor. Not sure

I went to Clarin Eye Care to enquire about having new lenses for one of my frames, and of course, I had a bunch of questions too. I waited for a short while and Emma took the turn to help me. She seems to be knowledgeable about ophthalmologists in this part of town and even knew of my eye doctor let me know how to get my prescription from the practice as I didn't have it with me, all without pressure and pushing to sell. This was my first time in over a decade at an optometrist, and my first time expecting a diagnosis. I expected to feel overwhelmed, but the practice took excellent care of me. After a number of effectively administered tests, Dr. Morales was prompt, friendly, and succinctly explained my diagnosis. The opticians I saw afterward were likewise very friendly and seemed absolutely prepared to explain how much of the cost of my glasses was covered.

I went to Clarineyecare for my eye exam yesterday and my experience was outstanding. I saw Dr.Adam Clarin and he was professional, kind, and witty. He explained to me in detail about my vision, and answered any questions that I had with ease. The staff was very nice, and welcoming! It wasn’t like any other eye place where they treat you like just another customer and make you try to spend your money on their products. They do what is best for the customer! I will definitely be returning!

This place needs a personality implant. Everyone is SO STANK!!! No sense of humor. No smiling. There is even a nasty note on the door that says WEAR YOUR MASK. Ok yes I wear a mask and I'm vaccinated but there are ways to post it. Like all other offices that state please wear one etc. I thanked the lady for my glasses and got a arggh. The girl up front couldn't say my name and caught an attitude. The tech was super uneducated. Oh yeah and my glasses took 3 weeks! I will never go back!

I got my prescription and went to my fav store to get my lenses (warby parker) waited almost 2 weeks to get my glasses and the prescription was wrong! I went again with the dr. at Clarin Eye Care Center and they double checked and revised the prescription, indeed it was not correct. I want them to send the prescriptionover email right after I finished my appointment. I had to call next day since I didnt receive it on my email. So it has been a lost of time! I need to go again to Warby Parker to re do my prescritpion on my lenses... :( it is the first time I experience this error that lasted more

I would give them a five star if they were not so cheap. They are aware of cheaper or more economical places to get eyeglasses therefore to keep you coming back they will not provide you in the prescription with your inter-pupillary distance unless you pay extra $25, cheap.
Because of bad measurements I had to go back twice and still don't think my glasses are ok.

From making the appointment to the exam to glasses, this office is Eye-mazing. Dr. Adam is extremely knowledgeable and always has the best way of explain things. My children and I wouldn't go anywhere else. If you want great and friendly customer service, a nice selection of glasses and state of the art equipment to evaluate your eye heath..... this is your place. You won't believe your eyes.

If you want the best call here. This Eye Center is professional they don't waste your time extremely knowledgeable, I have been a client for maybe four or five years.
When you have questions they answer them if you call them and you have a need somebody called you back. When you make an appointment your appointment time is your appointment time. My adult children go here and everyone is satisfied beyond their expectation.

This is my first time visiting. I normally visit the Coral Gables center. Everybody on the team was super friendly and helpful. There was a little situation at the front desk but it was quickly rectified. It went above and beyond what I expected. The doctor was very friendly and built great rapport. It was easy to converse with him. And this was during a time that we were under quarantine and many people were very stressful. But you would not have known that other than the precautions that they took.

This review is a long time in coming. My sister, mother, aunt, and myself have all been going to the Clarins and Dr. Sherr for years and have had nothing but great experiences. The space is clean and bright and they continuously update their techniques and equipment. They helped my mother with a second opinion about a chronic, bothersome eye issue that other eye doctors could not help her with. We all feel well-cared for and confident in every doctors' abilities there. They're all personable and fun to talk to as well, which makes the experience even better.
