Countless times, I have treated someone who was too embarrassed to even crack a smile at their initial visit but are unable to contain their grin after undergoing orthodontic treatment. I am proud that I am able to make a real and positive difference in the lives of our patients. Not only do we help patients to improve their appearance, we decrease the chances that our patients will have problems with their teeth, gums, or jaws as they age.

History: Our Laurel office was established in 1969, and our Gaithersburg location was established in 1974 by Dr. Robert Decker. Our offices were amongst the very first orthodontic practices in Laurel and Gaithersburg Maryland. Although Dr. Decker has been retired for many years, we are very proud of our history, and we are honored to be currently treating second, third, and even fourth generations of families that we treated in the past!
Maryland Advanced Orthodontics is known throughout the Gaithersburg community for producing incredibly gorgeous smiles! We are conservative in our treatment approach: Not every individual requires orthodontic care; however, when treatment is indicated, we recommend the most conservative, proven and effective techniques available for each type of case.

I highly recommend Maryland Advanced Orthodontics. Dr. Lavine and his team are knowledgeable, skilled in their practice, and extremely kind. The team carefully explained each step, demonstrate proper techniques for insertion and removal of the Invisalign’s trays, and answers each of my questions. It was easy to place my trust in them and I could not be more pleased with the results.

I’ve had a very pleasant experience with Dr. Lavine and this office for my Invisalign treatment. Appointments are prompt and efficient. I am always in and out, and Dr. Lavine always takes time to answer any questions related to treatment after each visit. I was nervous about doing adult orthodontics, but I’m glad it went with this office to do so.

I recently finished my Invisiline treatment with them. I had a great experience with them. For every appointment I was always greeted with someone friendly and professional. I never had to wait long and always had a great experience. The end result was as planned with no issues. I would absolutely recommend them and would take my kids there once they're ready.

Dr.Levine and his staff were awesome. We had a great experience there. We moved from abroad where my daughter had started with her orthodontics treatment for only a few months. Dr.Levine was very informative and explain every action in details, he was very transparent and discussed all the options and set our expectations. He was able to continue the treatment, whereas other doctors told us that we would have to start the treatment all over again. Very happy with the results!
