At Hoosier Village, our mission is to enhance the quality of life for older adults within a secure environment that supports their needs, values, interests, and independence while encouraging personal and spiritual development. In 1952, a new era began with the opening of Hoosier Village, a neighborhood where individuals were introduced to a new approach in retirement living.
Our community is designed to maximize the independence of those we serve while offering help with everyday activities when necessary. Because our accredited Continuing Care Retirement Community offers a full continuum of care, residents can also move seamlessly from one level of care to another, based on their needs.
Poplar Chase is the newest neighborhood at Hoosier Village, featuring single-family homes and duplexes. At an average of 1,850 square feet, these homes are the perfect size and boast countless amenities. Poplar Chase homes offer open floor plans, tall ceilings, and gourmet kitchens with high-end appliances and finishes.
The Oaks at Hoosier Village are our largest duplex homes. The Oaks provides floor plans and finishes found in the area's most luxurious homes. These homes feature large, open floor plans with gourmet kitchens, huge master suites, and fully finished basements. Enjoy the out of doors with a sunroom, front porch, screened porch, and back patio.
The Woodside neighborhood at Hoosier Village consists of large, spacious cottage homes with numerous options and variations in floor plans. Each cottage features cathedral ceilings throughout, a versatile great room with Palladium windows, two bedrooms, two full baths, and a full kitchen with a side-by-side refrigerator.

As an employee way back when...this company basically helped save my 13 year old son's (at the time) now 17..life. I only worked there for about 7 months as a charge nurse in the health center. Still think about some if my residents...but I give this place 5 stars because of what they did for me as a single mom of a sick child even tho I had to resign to be with him through treatment. He was re-diagnosed in 2018. But...he beat it again and has been in remission since December of 2019. I know they may wonder at times whatever became of us and I'm leaving this for them really. Thank you for caring

I do not live here. However, I have been fortunate over the years to experience the joys of many retirement homes and nursing facilities.
First thing I noticed was that it did not smell of urine (this is a positive). Second, the hallways are wide and clean. Third, it is lighted well and bright. Fourth, the rooms in the assisted living are really spacious.
Bottom line - this is a very top quality facility.
