Rural Health Care is a privately-owned nursing facility which specializes in meeting the unique medical and psychosocial needs beyond those of the typical geriatric population. We provide care for Residents with a variety of mental disorders who exhibit redirectable behaviors that are difficult to manage in a conventional geriatric facility.

Our goal is for the Residents to maintain as much independence as possible while allowing the Residents to live in a structured, comfortable and safe environment. Rural Health Care is a privately owned senior care center that meets the behavioral needs of the Residents who do not thrive in a traditional long-term care enviornement. We strive to meet the needs of each resident while maintaining their privacy, dignity and integrity. That's why our philosophy at Rural Health Care is Residents First.
Rural Health Care continues to be blessed with long-term, dedicated staff. Managers and staff are empowered to create a home-like environment in the facility. Caring staff combined with continuing education ensures staff are working to improve upon the services they provide to local seniors. Not only do we strive to meet the physical needs of each Resident but also their psychosocial well being.

Rural Health Care Center offers a full-time, therapy and rehabilitation team. We provide physical, occupational, and speech therapy. Our goal is to assist each individual to achieve their highest possible level of function and independence. Rural Health Care Center offers the full spectrum of rehabilitation treatment for injuries and other conditions.
Occupational therapy provides services to help regain the skills needed to return home. Our occupational therapists at Rural Nursing and Rehab work with residents who have an array of varying diagnosis that have their abilities interrupted by injury, illness, disease progression, or surgery.

Occupational therapists establish goals for patients to learn, or relearn, including activities of daily living with the ultimate goal of returning home, if it safely possible.Upper body strengthening, to have the ability to dress, toilet, and other activities necessary to return home;. Wheelchair management, for those who are wheelchair-bound so they are comfortable and at a low risk of skin breakdown;.

It is a getto nursing home it is like a metal hospital they are people in here that are arguing with the nurse or other people .
