The Art Of Noticing
Kate is Chicago-based yoga instructor and Music Director, with a demonstrated history of working in the fields of music and health/wellness. Kate specializes in mindful attention through meditation and movement, with a focus on healing and recovery. Kate guides both a full classroom and her private clients with equal thoughtfulness, attention to detail, and compassion.

In group settings, Kate teaches Yoga for Recovery, and offers workshops on Meditation and Mindfulness. In one-on-one settings, Kate provides private yoga and vocal coaching. Kate has been a Yoga Instructor for seven years, and has a Certificate in Mindfulness from Chicago State University. In addition, Kate is Reiki Level 2 certified, Yoga for 12 Step Recovery Certified, and has completed Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) training.
Services
Seated meditation can be daunting to pursue, however, it is a skill that is easily learned, simply integrated into daily routine, and instantly beneficial. Meditation focuses on awareness of the breath, mind, body, and environment, and helps individuals become aware of what is happening in the present moment.
To support each of you on a regular, ongoing basis, I have created a variety of packages and subscriptions that you can choose from, where we can work together virtually, in a group setting or privately. Services start as low as $10 each month, with an option of unlimited monthly packages at $100 a month.

I have thoroughly appreciated and enjoyed working with Kate in my meditation and mindfulness sessions! Our breathing and thought exercises have become very valuable to me as I am able to pause my day to take time to reflect about what I am grateful and appreciative for. I highly recommend taking a break in your day and experiencing Kate's mindfulness, meditation and yoga classes! I find her classes to be incredibly valuable in my life on a personal level, but also have the unique perspective of experiencing them on a professional level too.

What a rewarding a delightful way to deal with the stress of everyday life (especially these days!). Kate has a special and seamless way of making everyone in class (virtual or in person) feel like..."this is exactly where you are meant to be in this exact moment."
I am by no means an advanced yogi either so to really feel welcome no matter my level is the best. Highly recommend!

Kate's meditation and mindfulness classes/seminars are top notch! I met Kate through a recommendation from a friend at a yoga studio in town, and I'm so glad I did. Kate has led multiple mindfulness and meditation sessions for my work as part of an ongoing series to decrease stress in the workplace and increase mindfulness, awareness, and appreciation for our current situations. Kate's yoga and meditation classes are amongst the best and always seem to hit home with what I am needing. She is a beautiful soul and her radiant energy shines in each of her classes. I can't say enough good things about Kate. She's the most genuine soul and her classes are some of the best I've ever tried in Chicago. Yoga isn't always my first choice of workout but Kate has changed that. She's helped me find my love for yoga and meditation again and I'm so grateful for that especially during these hard times. Try one of her classes ASAP! You'll feel like a new person.

I needed a way to find grounding and peace during the shelter in place, and this brought me to Kate's restorative class. I was a complete newcomer to Yoga, and Kate's teaching style was a perfect way for me to become comfortable exploring and developing my practice. After each class, I leave feeling not only grounded and reset, but also inspired to continue my practice and carrying the lessons from my mat into my life.
