In the late 1770s, alongside a dusty road in Concord Township, there stood a tavern called the Concordville Inn. Inside the faint glow of candles and the warmth of an open hearth were welcome sights to travelers as they made their long journey between Philadelphia and Baltimore.
Legend has it that this Inn provided refuge to some of the more famous travelers of the day - from Revolutionary War heroes to statesmen as prominent as George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, and Benjamin Franklin.Ownership of the Inn changed hands from time to time, passing from families named Way and Hannum to Taylor, Speakman, and Cloud.

New Year's Eve is often a time for crowded restaurants and rushed service. Not last night at the Concordville Inn. Our server Trace made us feel at home. Nothing was rushed. The food was excellent. Try the… Brussels Sprouts appetizer - delicious! The salads were fresh and crisp. We had chicken piccata and crab cakes. In chatting with us and other guests, Trace kept the evening moving and all of us had a great evening. We will be back!

Alot has changed. Omelets where burnt, looked like pancakes. Not good at all. Not many options. Shrimp was cooked in some kind of new clove, table couldnt eat it. Food has declined in taste. Price is high for less food. Staff was amazing, very friendly and complimentary. We will probably not go again.

Hi. We just finished our thanksgiving buffet with you guys. I wanted to inform you guys how terrible it was! We had 5:30 reservations.We are beyond disappointed with everything for the amount of money we spent.… Every single item of our food was cold. Including the coffee! The dessert table was a disaster. Everything was completely picked through. It looked like someone had a party on it. And some of the items were empty. I also got told I have to keep my same glass for the night because they were short on glassware. The taste of the food was okay but the fact that we couldn’t get

We went there last evening for my mom‘s 77th birthday with very high expectations after reading the reviews. We had 6 o’clock reservations got there at about 10 of was seated immediately by the hostess who was very nice our waitress was very pleasant. That part of our experience was really really good. Now to the big park and everybody look forward to the food, we ordered drinks a couple beers and a couple sodas and appetizers which were very good the Concordville shrimp was wonderful. I ordered a wedge salad that I thought would come out prior to my meal but it arrived within a minute of being

The Concordville Inn is a great place to have a wedding or any event! The ballroom is a great space and they have other rooms for smaller events too. The bathrooms are clean and the service is great. We had my sisters repass there after the funeral and everyone loved it. We were in the gold ballroom and it was set with risers, speakers, a projector and a mic. Everything we needed for our event. The salmon was great and the dessert was delicious as well! The only thing that could have been better was the attitude of one of the head ladies there, Dianna. She wasn't a good representation of what that

I’ve been enjoying the Concordville Inn for so many decades. It’s my go-to place for all events! I was married there in the early 1990’s and stayed at their hotel. My father was friends with previous owner, Jerry Hionis, so our history goes way back. The Concordville Inn has never disappointed. It’s my favorite restaurant and even though I moved away from Glen Mills, I’m always happy to drive up for meals and events at the Concordville.
