We love Tsunami! It is a very relaxing energy inside the restaurant, the type of vibe I like in a sushi spot. The options are great and the food is always delicious. My favorite sushi restaurant in West Chester. Great place to take someone you care about.

Coming back to give my second review. This place never ceases to impress. They get a lot of heat for their long wait times, but that is only because they put so much attention to detail with their food and focus on quality. The food is always delicious and they often throw in an on-the-house item for your wait. They deserve more recognition than they get.

Dining here for 6+ years. Reasonably priced favorite in town. Prefer dining in. Appreciate the no-nonsense & family run food business.
For 2 people I usually share 1 entree, 2 Chef Hiro Signature sushi rolls & side of lo mein with some leftover. Sometimes give special gift for birthday celebration.

Tried Tsunami for the first time today and lunch was wonderful. Great portion sizes, and amazing flavors from the miso soup to the Pineapple fried rice with chicken. My wife had the One Night in Bangkok. We both enjoyed everything and will definitely come back. Also first time trying Thai iced tea which was great.

I've been going here for years now since I went to WC. Whenever I want sushi and I'm in west chester i go here. Sushi is always great and service is very friendly.

We ordered take out on a Wednesday afternoon. We ordered Chicken Pad Thai, Chicken Drunken Noodles, Shrimp Lo Mein, Crab Rangoon and Tako yaki.

Overall, the food is excellent. My favorite is the Tako yaki, with its soft buttery outside texture and warm octopus filling.

The Chicken Pad Thai was also great. The crunchy peanuts with noodles and fresh chicken make for a great dish.

Excellent food at a respectable price. We'll be back!

Absolutely love the sushi and food options there I just don't recommend ordering water it tastes weird

Ordered takeout, forgot our salads, forgot our appetizer and dipping sauces for the one appetizer they didn't forget to give us.
I could forgive all those mistakes if the food was flavorful but it has been pretty lacking and overall poor qualitiy
I would try elsewhere if you are considering ordering from here.

A group of us ordered takeout, very excited to try a new sushi place. When we got home there was no wasabi and no soy sauce with any of our sushi. We also ordered four helpings of rice only came with three... very disappointed.

My experience was underwhelming, and the food was just ok. We ordered an appetizer and four specialty sushi rolls. Two of the four rolls were served before the appetizer even came out. When the calamari app finally did arrive about 30 minutes after being ordered, they were huge, over-fried and oil logged rings. Worst calamari I've ever had, and I order it anytime I see it on a menu. Then the other two rolls finally arrived. The server said which rolls they were so fast both times that were delivered that we had to deduce from our recall of the menu which was which. The service was not absent

We have enjoyed food from Tsunami many times, but last night's experience left us scratching our heads. Ordered takeout this time and were disappointed with the tempura vegetables. They were extremely greasy. Also, ordered tempura shrimp and received another order of greasy vegetables. The sushi was good. General Tao's chicken made with breast meat? Hopefully just an off night.

For how much I love Asian food and sushi, I'm surprised it took me this long to try Tsunami. I guess I've always been intimidated by the parking situation, and figured Michi Sushi is closer to me and has a parking lot.

We actually didn't order the sushi (but I'm definitely coming back to order it!) We ordered the beef udon soup and drunken noodles. The noodle soup was pretty mild in flavor, I think it could have had more taste to it. The drunken noodles were good and the perfect amount of spicy in my opinion.

Sushi appetizer tuna, very salty. Must be using salt to preserve the fish as place seemed very slow but a big sushi menu. Sushi was supposed to be their speciality but it was decided so so.

Two noodle entrees. Not good either one. Spicy noodle was so bad my wife made me throw out leftovers (leftover was whole dish since she ate so little).

Overall not good. Maybe good as a college hole in the wall but not good for this middle aged couple.

I do like their sushi and food, but a lot of the times that I ordered from DoorDash, I didn't even end up getting all the stuff I ordered which makes me sad. I do like their food and it's sometimes a hit or miss with their sushi collections.

Me and my roommates always order from here and it is by far our favorite sushi restaurant! They accidentally forgot our kani salad, but were super nice about it and even gave us some rock shrimp for the mess up! Seriously such a kind group of workers! Food is also always a 10/10

We love ordering from this restaurant. We ordered tonight. After 2 hours past the ready time, they notified us that they cancelled our order. When we called to inquire, they hung up the phone on us 4 times. I asked to speak to the manager. We offered to come pick up the order ourselves so they did not lose the revenue. The manager also hung up the phone. This is unacceptable. We have been trying to do our best to help out local business owners (we have ordered from Tsunami once a week for months) during this difficult time. I ordered Thai takeout from Tsunami and really enjoyed my experience.

The menu has tons of options and the food is affordable. It looks like most of the main dishes run between $11 and $20; some even come with soup or salad on the side.

I ordered the Sweet and Sour Noodle Soup (veggie option). It was delicious. It was a nice amount of spice and the restaurant separately packed the broth and noodles/veg so that the noodles didn't get soggy.

I was also able to taste my sister's curry and soup, booth of which were also very tasty.

I'd recommend Tsunami and would order from there

Just discovered this gem of a restaurant! Their cuisine is beyond outstanding! Margaret Kuo's has very stiff competition here with a better price point.

I ordered doordash. It very quick and I was pleased with delivery. I ordered general tsos and the vegetable haru maki. The general tsos was salty and sour more than normal general tsos sauce. The chicken was very soggy and it just kind of off put me when I ate it. I only received 3 vegetable haru maki rolls when it said I was getting four. The miso soup is nothing special and is actually very bland, which I understand it's a bland soup but this had little to no flavor.

Best sushi I have had in a long time!! Reasonably priced too- which is hard to find when it comes to sushi. Everything was so fresh. They even gave us a free roll on the house. Could not have asked for more. HIGHLY recommend.

I'll keep it short and sweet for everyone. I'm a big sushi fan. I love it. All kinds. All flavors. Give it to me all. So it's safe to say I know good sushi from bad sushi and mediocre sushi. I really don't have much else to say here except for this is the BEST SUSHI IN THE AREA. Go here. Order. You will not regret it. I've been wanting to try this place for a long time and not am I SO glad I did. The end.

My husband and I had a COVID date night this weekend. We ordered our meal around 2pm for 5:30 pickup and paid ahead over the phone.

We ordered the Maki Combo, Drunken Noodles, Tuna Tartar and spring rolls. Everything was delicious and fresh. They were a little backed up when we went to pickup our order but the takeout process was pretty seamless.

Highly recommend for local sushi at reasonable prices!

So there's a very cheap parking garage around the corner. It's very popular bc it's so cheap. I thought I'd have to pay $10 to park. Nope. $1.50.

Nice little place with a wide variety of items on the menu. Only have been there once so review is based off of that experience.
We got several orders of sushi with the Maki combo, which allows you to pick 3 rolls from a decent list of options and comes with either a green salad or miso soup. The rolls were good, but the rice was a bit too soft and so each roll didn't taste as fresh as we would have liked. Flavors were okay and service was fast. Overall not a bad place, but quality of the rolls was not quite up to our expectations.
Would try it again but it's not a place I'd go out of my way
