Well, this used to be our favorite local place when Manny was there. Ordered takeout tonight and on pick up was met with unfriendly & indifferent staff. On arrival at home ten minutes later, my wife found part of her dinner was missing and called. While they were still there, they chose to ignore the phone as they were closing. My wife drove back to find other customers still dining. (It makes you wonder why they couldn’t answer the phone.). She was then told the kitchen was closed and was handed cold vegetables & potatoes. After nearly two years of a pandemic, you would think properly preparing

Food is excellent. However it's a BYOB - Bring Your Own Bottle (of alcohol like wine,...). This is a plus or minus. Minus: you can't order any beer or wine - a Plus because you buy your beer or wine at the grocery store and drink it at the restaurant; much cheaper. Another Plus: because you cannot order an alcoholic beverage, the sound level in the restaurant was much quieter than in many other restaurants, as not everybody did go to the grocery store before coming to the restaurant (like me).

PROS: The food is quite good for the most part!
Eggplant parm is delicious; homemade, fresh pasta;
CONS:
The lighting! Awful bright white LED lightbulbs and I cannot stand it. Please light some candles exchange the harsh lightbulbs!
The acoustics: Marble, tables & floors with no tablecloths = deafening clanging of silverware & glassware
The chicken is very thin. Way too thin.
Caesar Dressing:is bland!! Needs lemon, more cheese, less fish and oil.

Had a terrible experience here a few weeks ago. Yes I waited to post a review as I contacted Fellini's first and wanted to give the owner or manager a chance to rectify the issue but no one made any attempt to contact me OR make the situation right.
It was Veteran's day when we went to Fellini's with my brother who is a vet and he specifically chose this establishment. We went with his wife, myself, him, and my three nephews.
When we arrived we saw that there was a large party of about 30 people that were on one half of the restaurant. I didn't think this would be an issue with

Made reservations after reading the reviews. Not impressed. Had to park up near the apartments. It took 15 minutes for our waiter to greet us. He shows up with tap water and takes our orders, never asks if we want drinks. Table of 4. 2 of our entrees arrived incomplete (chicken parm only, no pasta) and the other two came out 5 min later and shortly after the spaghetti that came with the very small cut of chicken parm arrived. A very awkward experience for sure. Will not be returning. It felt so unprofessional. Waiter was nice, but I expected to enjoy my meal and have drinks. Not warm tap water

Spectacular! I am not a huge Italian fan but my family is, and this place really hit the spot. (And definitely come hungry, these portions are for kings, which I adore!) The staff here was also very attentive and engaging. They were all very on top of making sure customers were taken care of. It was much appreciated! And they kept tables spaced out for folks eating indoors which made me feel very comfortable in this COVID world :)

There are several Fellini within 45 minutes of one another, same name and similar menus, but unknown to me if related. Great selection of pasta, proteins and salads. Decent price point and ridiculously large portions. Like a pound of pasta per order, enough for two or more meals. Aurora sauce is excellent, just enough cream to be not too rich. My wife usually gets the ravioli with it. This time she tried the Penne Putanesca which she enjoyed very much. I usually get, without any thought, a variation the Penne Fellini with Prosciutto di Parma peas, onions in a light cream sauce. This time I tried

I used to LOVE this restaurant before COVID and did give them a 5 star a few years back. This trip was a disaster. Service poor, very noisey ( they allowed a wedding party in that didn't care about anyone else enjoying a quiet meal)
Food really bad. There were four of us and we all felt the same. I ordered
spaghetti and crab #44. Spaghetti very thick and soggy, crab was sprinkled on so thin at first I thought it was cheese. Some clown kept walking up and
down in front of the table. He was very annoying. Never again!

First time ordering take out from the West Chester location. My Chicken Cesar salad only had 5 extra thin pieces of chicken. I wish to have a lot more protein (chicken) on the salad. Too much lettuce. Only a few cherry tomatoes and there was crumbled parm cheese on it. I felt that it was mediocre for sure and it wasn't worth what I paid. I was disappointed.
We got the penne with Sausage and that was HUGE. Can deff feed two adults. Yummy and very generous with sausage. Equal ratio pasta to sausage. My husband loved it.
Normally we go to the Newtown Square location. And I have gotten many

Went on a Saturday night in September during Covid. Called ahead to verify no wait for tables. The gentleman who answered the phone was professional and greeted us when we entered. We sat with Sarah and she was beyond amazing answering our many questions...we are picky eaters. We ordered chicken piccata wow 4 large pieces of chicken in one of the best piccata I have ever had. I had a side of pasta in the red sauce that was also perfect- great flavor and not to salty. We also ordered involtini fellini - veal rolled in spinach in the best Gorgonzola cheese cream sauce. The side with that was angel

Father's Day dinner (2019):
They forgot to include the shrimp in the shrimp pasta that my dad ordered.
The fried calamari is subpar and the marinara sauce was a little salty. Definitely had better before...although the positive was that the marinara sauce was warm.
47. Rigatoni Con Salsicee - was pretty good. The pasta was al dente, the sauce was warm and the portion size was great.
Complimentary bruschetta - bread was nicely toasted with fresh tomatoes on top
Complimentary bread - nothing that stands out or even mentioning
Server asked if we wanted any parmesan cheese, we said yes, but he

Ordered take out and it will be for the last time after giving them a third chance.A small simple order of a Caesar salad which was comprised of Romaine lettuce stalks,a teaspoon of grated cheese and stale soft croutons.Combined with no dressing on it or the side .Next up was the cold entree of lasagna and cold meatballs after a 35 minute wait mind you.The third and final time our meals came sloppily prepared and incomplete.

Well, those reviewers that say this is authentic Italian obviously think the same of Spahgetti-Os. My wife put it perfectly, its the same food they serve in my grandmother's retirement home. Although affordable it's not worth it unless you consider Chef Boyardee a delicacy. We tapped out at 3 bites in each.

Yesterday was my daughters baptism and after many recommendations from friends in the area we decided to host our special event at Fellini's of West Chester. We were not disappointed! Our food and service was amazing!!! Also the restaurant is BYOB and they kept all of our bottles ice cold! The manager Manny was so accommodating from the start and ensured our event would be special and perfect! He delivered on this 100%! Everyone loved their dishes and they couldn't believe the size of their portions! True Italian style servings :)

This is our go to for a good Italian meal. Manny does a great job with this local neighborhood BYOB. Family loves coming here and we all leave full and satisfied. Great Italian food at great prices. Service is good and the restaurant is clean and lively. My favorite is past al la Norma and the specials are always delicious. This place is also great for large groups and parties and it always seems to be in demand. Highly recommend and we do take out too.

On behalf of my mother: I had a horrible experience at Fellini Cafe due to poor treatment by the manager about 2 weeks ago. We had 2 dishes messed up that night. I ordered the veal Parmesan and they ended up giving her chicken instead. The waitress remembered that I had ordered veal, and couldn't have been nicer when she profusely apologized and offered to take the dish off of the bill. When we got our bill, the dish wasn't on there, like we were told. We had looked at the bill and were in the midst of getting our money out. Here's where it got weird.

Beware of the great reviews as they are deceiving. I came in today and my server was a little pushy about yelping. She said that their boss wants them to yelp a review to boost their stars.
Although my service was on point and I really loved my chicken parm, it's pretty sad that the servers have to tell the customers to post a 5 Star review. I gave them 3/5 bc the food here is ok for the price but maybe the ethics are a bit off.
I'll try back on a busier night
