CrossFit The Rack
Our CrossFit program emphasizes short, high intensity workouts. We focus on functional movements and combine strength training, cardiovascular conditioning (aka cardio) and basic body weight exercises. Workouts are constantly varied from day to day and they are infinitely scalable for any level of fitness.

Everyone from elite athletes to beginners can be accommodated. Our Kids/Teens Class is a strength and conditioning program for athletes in middle and high school. We build people of exceptional strength and character by focusing on basic barbell movements, emphasizing technique over weight and taking advantage of the life lessons that strength training provides.

CFTR is the best. The coaches are excellent and are very knowledgeable. They take the time to work with each individual at their own skill level. The personal coaching is second to none. CFTR has totally transformed how I view fitness and has given me a new leash on life. Daniel Sullivan, owner and coach is the absolute best.

If you’re trying to use the Groupon don’t bother, I got the straight run around. He wouldn’t even look at the schedule of availability for beginners until he got a deposit. Then the schedule for beginners I was told is in the AM when the website said it was at 6:30pm. Spend your money on a personal trainer for their prices anyways.

If you live near Paramus and are serious about lifting you should belong to this gym.
I was in town on business and stopped by for a workout. This gym has it all, deadlift bars, deadlift platforms including pegs for bands, spider bars, ssb, chalk, and a reverse hyper. They of course have all the usual CrossFit equipment, mostly rogue.

Terrible experience. Firstly, the coach for the time that I came in had no idea how to manage a newcomer/drop in. Ended up getting WAY overcharged for a drop in ($35) for literally zero coaching. Arrived early to fill out a waiver and warm up properly, when the coach came up and said I can just start whenever I wanted. Zero class structure/organization, no warmup from the coach, and no direction as to where a 400 m marker would be for the run. Just a super lackluster experience. I'll drive by this box to go to Guerrilla

My husband and I walked into CrossFit the Rack just under 3 years ago. We started with the beginner class, every time we looked over at the “regular class” it seemed so intimidating, but when we were ready to graduate we were more than prepared. I worked out through all 9 months of my pregnancy and my recovery was speedy. All of the coaches love what they do and it’s evident in the programs they create and the individualized coaching whenever you need it. We are so happy we joined.

I’ve been a member for almost a year now and I just love this place. No matter what day or time I go, I always look forward to my workout because all the coaches are friendly, knowledgeable, and eager to help you progress. The community of members are all inspiring and supportive. I am my fittest and healthiest I have ever been and I credit improvements in other aspects of my life with my experiences here at Crossfit the Rack.

The Rack saved my life. Nothing feels better than, or is more gratifying, than a CrossFit workout. It's not a gym, it's a second home. I've worked out all over Bergen County and even worked one on one with trainers...paying an arm and a leg more often than not. This is the first time I felt like I was getting MORE than I paid for. Try it, I promise you'll love it!

Today I celebrate my third year anniversary with CrossFit The Rack and I can't help but put a huge smile on my face as I look back at the amazing journey these coaches have come with me on as well as all the lifetime friends I have made. Each day is different and they offer something for everyone. As of this post I am even doing an individual design program that has helped me move on from a small lag and reaching more of my goals. For those that are nervous about taking that first step, just take a leap of faith, you wont regret it!

One of the best decisions I’ve ever made was trying a class at CrossFit the Rack. The coaches are knowledgeable, welcoming and supportive, and will help tailor any workout to the level you need. I joined with the goal of improving my overall fitness and can honestly say I feel better and stronger than I ever have before.
I sincerely recommend CFTR to everyone, no matter your age, fitness level or ability because this is an environment where you will succeed. You’ll be able to challenge yourself, get help working towards your goals, and even enjoy the process!

Everyone is a critic. There are gyms that look the part that have nothing to contribute. To each their own, if your choices are elsewhere.

Dan is a very knowledge coach. I'm glad to have found this gym, and have gained nothing but progress and knowledge from their instruction.

The programming is sound, and you can decide if it is what is for you as it is listed on their website, just as many other affiliates do. The facility is perfect and well equipped. Location is ideal. The coaches exhibit their sincere interests in helping people find progress in their fitness, whatever their

Before coming to "Crossfit The Rack", I was just doing traditional weight training and cardio. I would get to the gym and begin my cardio, while reading on my Kindle. Don't get me wrong, I read more books than I have ever read, while sweating. I needed to find a way to incorporate both the physical and mental stimulation into my workouts. This is where "The Rack" comes into play.
I have been at "The Rack" now for over two years. Since joining, I have become faster, stronger, and do not hate running as much. The owners Dan and Pat are very knowledgeable

As of the date of this review, I have been coming to CFTR for about 2 months and could not be happier with my experience. CrossFit is challenging and gratifying, and the environment at CFTR makes it a perfect place to work out. The owners, Dan, Pat, and Justin have created a community that is welcoming of all CrossFit skill levels. Their coaching style is hands on and supportive, which helps a ton when you're trying to squeeze out 50 or 75 burpees or learn handstand push-ups. The fact that CFTR is located in a Gold's Gym is a major plus in that, as a CFTR member, you are entitled to use
