Miller Pacific Engineering Group provides clients with special services in the Geosciences by drawing on forty years of professional expertise in Geology, Civil and Geotechnical Engineering. Although the firm's experience extends throughout the seventeen western states, Alaska, Hawaii and Guam, the majority of its projects are in the San Francisco Bay Area and Redwood Empire Region.

With a home office in Novato and additional offices in Napa and Petaluma (including soil laboratory), the firm serves numerous public agencies and private clients. Their services span the range of Geotechnical Planning, Geological Hazards Analysis, Geotechnical Exploration and Testing, Foundation Engineering, Construction Monitoring, Geo-Civil Engineering and Distressed Property Evaluation.

As president of Miller Pacific Engineering Group, Scott is responsible for the overall business management of the firm. He is also the Senior Project Manager and Reviewer for numerous Geotechnical and Geo-Civil projects. He has conducted many forensic geotechnical investigations and has provided expert testimony on geotechnical issues including slope instability, retaining wall failure, foundation distress and groundwater seepage.
