Diagnoses are clusters of symptoms that serve as jumping-off points to inform us where to place our attention-but they are not the end-all, be-all. Mind Body Connections counselors look to symptoms as guideposts that direct us to discover the underlying root cause/s of the symptoms. At Mind Body Connections, we view the mind and body as being connected and in constant dialog.
Your therapeutic journey means developing relationships-connecting your body, mind, and spirit, reuniting with your creativity and expression, and collaborating with a healthcare professional to discover empowering resources for a successful journey towards optimal health and well-being. Art therapy focuses on activating inner strengths and abilities through the creative process.
For decades, Mind Body Connections has provided on-site and private supervision to both students and professionals preparing for advanced licensing and credentialing. Whether you're a dance movement therapist, art therapist, a licensed professional counselor working toward your LCPC, or you hold an MA in counseling, art therapy, or social work, we will help you prepare to take the next step in your professional journey.
