KEVIN IS BLESSED! I recently went to Posh Studios specifically to get a permanent color with Kevin by recommendation from a friend. told him I would give him a review and I am an honest reviewer. So, I felt the need to wait until I had time to style my hair to see what it looked like so that I could post a review about my entire experience with Kevin - from the consultation to styling. I have now styled my hair after his coloring....AMAZING!

I had an horrible experience with one of the stylists that works at Posh. I wanted a ponytail hairstyle, and was informed by the stylist that it could hold up for at least two weeks. The ponytail only lasted for 3 days so I spoke to the stylist to see what she could do to accommodate. Her response was unapologetic, and it led to her ultimately calling me out my name. Her exact words to me was "cheap a** h** and a scammer". I was very upset about this, since I had tried to handle the situation calmly. I spoke to Kevin, the owner, he apologized and seemed sincere for what I had experienced

Nobody does my hair like Kevin.
I love his work - cut, color and style. When dealing with long un-permed Black hair he doesn't even flinch (note-I've have had a few stylists flat out tell me no). I don't go to the salon often, however, Kevin makes it easy on me. He gets me in and out and I love the way my hair looks, feels, and smells when I leave. On the personal side - He's good folks. Kevin is like a family friend you can trust to always come through.

This salon is in a great location: very close to the Galleria area. I've been in the salon a few times and it's clean, spacious and vibrant filled with abstract artwork.
Kevin Bolivar aka "Posh" has a large diverse clientele. I have a few friends that go to him and they have always been so happy with his service and professionalism. A hard worker and Kevin knows his stuff. He is a "gem" in the hair industry.

The atmosphere at Posh is enough to give 5 stars. Once you enter the salon, you are greeted by vibrant colors and beautiful artwork. Christmas, Kevin's assistant, greeted us. My mother and I were referred to Kevin by one of my linesisters. My mother was getting a wash and flatiron. She was very content with her hair afterwards. She plans to make another appointment in the near future.

I have been to Posh Hair Studios multiple times and in reading the two reviews am shocked at what I have read as I have never had a negative experience.
Kevin B., Head stylist and Owner of Posh Hair Studios is a true master of technique and is one of the only people I will allow to cut my hair in the state of Texas. Regardless of the location (which is in the "galleria" area per the map) the service, diverse clientele and level of professionalism are never compromised.
I have never seen a customer walk out unhappy, beautiful yes, unhappy no. I mean they offer you a glass of wine while

Love my stylist. Kevin is efficient, knowledgable, and has lots of personality. Never a dull moment but most importantly my hair is healthy. My hair has grown under Kevin's care and is soft silky and healthy. Wouldn't go anywhere else. Did I mention ... Kevin is on time as well. I don't have all day to spend in the salon. Go for my appointment and out within 2hrs or less depending on service. I suggest you check out Posh Hair Studios ... you won't be disappointed.

Posh Hair Studios is a professional yet fun salon. I have been getting my hair done by Kevin as I transition from relaxed to natural. He is knowledgeable, always on-time, and does a fantastic job at keeping my hair healthy and looking great. Whether I get a roller set or get my hair flat-ironed, it always looks excellent. Many people don't even know I'm going natural, that's how great of a job he does. I never ever have to wait all day. I’m usually in and out within a couple of hours. I have been going to Kevin at Posh Hair studios for a little over two years and he is FANTASTIC!!! I started going after a terrible experience with another hair dresser who was consistently late, always gave a "cut" when I needed a "trim, and was unprofessional. Kevin, his salon and his staff are the complete opposite - timely, efficient, well-priced, professional and talented. I have not had a bad experience at the salon--ever. He not only makes sure my hair looks great but he also makes sure it is the healthiest that it can be. I wouldn't go to anyone else!

I have been going to Kevin at Posh Hair Studios for years, and I love the shop, his skills, and him to death. Kevin is more than just a stylist, because his focus is on the health of your hair. He has a love and a passion for his craft that shows on every head of hair that walks out of his door. Great location. Salon is pretty big, has a waiting area with vending machines and my stylist has a private area which is nice and convienent. This was my first time being serviced by Koko but it definitely wont be the last. Shes amazing and talented and makes every effort to care for your hair regardless of style. I was so impressed that she did not have to cut my virgen extensions and was able to give me the look desired... but better. I'll be back around V-Day for fresh install. Can't wait.

I was excited when a friend mentioned this place to me as I've been in the market for a hair salon that specializes in ethnic hair but is also more on the upscale side, ala Azur or Ceron.
This place is described as "in the heart of the Galleria area"...it's not. It's on a ghetto part of Richmond Ave in a decrepit office building. Speaking of that office building- it sits back from the road, behind a fence with no signage or anything. I actually passed it up several times.
