Originally I wanted an ashy blonde color but my hair was too damaged to get it as light as I wanted. He gave me an amazing balayage ash color which I am extremely satisfied with.
He made sure he didn't over process my hair and did the best he could without killing my hair. I am very happy with the results and will go back for another session in two months. I decided to dye my hair with a peekaboo style so that it would be more subtle. Hardy took really great care of me when he was doing my hair. My hair is naturally dark, and the entire process took maybe 4 hours long, but he was super patient and sweet the whole time. He did such a wonderful job on my hair, and I've gotten a lot of compliments about it in just a few days since he did my hair. Definitely book with him; it's such a great experience. I had gotten my hair done yesterday by daniel and he is probably the most chill and relaxed hair stylist i’ve ever been to. it was nice talking yo someone that played basketball like i did, not to mention he also really did my hair justice! i’m very thankful and glad about the whole experience, 10/10, i recommend y’all to my dawg daniel

I loved this place, friendly vibe and super comfortable place! And Michael Mallory did a fantastic job with my hair ! .. I always satisfied and amazed by his work, is not only highlight or hair cut is a piece of art for him ! So I highly recommended Michael Mallory for your hair needs ! Updating my review since it's been awhile: I recently moved to LA but I always make sure to come back to Kenny when I visit my family in Houston. I don't let anyone else touch my hair because I know I trust Kenny to do a good job! Beyond that, the service here is always excellent - all of the stylists are willing to give advice on how to maintain your hairs health and offer their insight on what might best suit you. Not to mention Kenny also got me a coffee when I was noticeably tired from the night before! Been coming here for years and it never disappoints :)

Michael Mallory is my stylist. I have been using him twice a month for well over 2 years now. Many superlatives can be used to describe Michael’s talents but to keep it on point I’ll just say he is the BEST in Houston! He has techniques that he incorporates which are unique. I have been going to ML2 consistently for nearly 10 years now. They always provide great customer service and a killer haircut. In my opinion, the best two stylists for men are Daniel and Michael Mallory. Both are super professionals that can really bring any style to life.

I saw Hardy's work on Instagram and decided to schedule a consult with him. He is extremely friendly and thorough. I showed him what I wanted, and he told me if it was possible or not. I really appreciate his realistic judgements, because some other salons just wing it and give uneven green/brassy results. I had a great time at this salon and really appreciate the staff staying back to help finish my hair!

I didn't think spending hours at the salon would be the most ideal day to spend my Friday but the results were superbbb! MingLi and Hardy are the only people I trust with my hair & this is something I don't say often with any other hair stylist. MingLi came in clutch with the magic scissor hands and Hardy came thru with his painting skills. It definitely took a solid 6-7 hours but that's expected when you're trying to dye your hair. Can't rush perfection. I would highly recommend them, but again just note that it will take a whole day so plan accordingly.

Shoutout to Kenny for giving me an amazing fresh cut and for his stellar work of retoning my blonde hair! Kenny is extremely patient, especially when dealing with the amount of hair I have (every stylist I've gone to had always remarked that I have ton of hair). Despite that, Kenny did not rush the process; he carefully worked through my entire head of hair with the foilyage technique and had immaculate attention to detail! He was also really gentle when brushing through the teased hair and constantly checked to see I was doing okay.

I love this salon! Hair dresser Mr. Ming Li is an artist with hair styling. I have short hair and he is the best stylist I've encountered in my life. He won't settle for less than perfection!
I trust whatever he does with my hair. He speaks very good English so there's no problem communicating what I want done.

I had a salon and colorist that I was absolutely loyal to for years but decided to try ML2 on a whim after my brother had a haircut there. Though they were extremely busy, Hardy took the time to sit down with me for a free consultation, giving feedback about the state of my hair and the ideas I had for my next style. Afterwards, I had reached out on Instagram to make an appointment and he was extremely receptive, helpful, and accommodating to my needs/schedule. Lillian did an amazing job on my hair! I went in for a balayage touch up and she took the time to understand exactly what I wanted done and did such a great job blending my roots with my already bleached hair to create the perfect silver balayage.
The whole experience was great start to finish. I loved the customer service here from the first free consultation to staffs constantly making sure I'm comfortable and offering me water. Lillian was so professional throughout and I loved the result!
