Grand China

My husband has been coming to Grand China for the last 13 years. I tried the chicken lo mein and it was really good. Also they have a liquor inside which is why I think my husband goes often😅

It's nice that they deliver beer etc and the driver is really sweet but be sure you know exactly how much things cost when doing delivery because the woman will make up a price and you'll find yourself paying nearly as much for less food as you did when you bought more food a time before. I've actually ordered the same thing a few times just to get different prices each time.

The food and service were beyond my expectations. I really loved the vibes of this restaurant. Fantastic restaurant to take the family out for lunch.

I haven't been here in forever. I ordered 4pcs of wings and a large shrimp with broccoli. Absolutely delicious. I also got a Modelo beer

Ok Chinese food. General Tso's shrimp is pretty good, but the rice is not fried... it's just yellow. Be sure to get soy sauce cuz you'll need it to flavor the rice.

This place is nothing to call home about but they are clean and will get your food cooked up in less than ten min. I will say the spring rolls are delicious and their fried wings are decent. They no longer allow ppl to drink at their restaurant which has helped make it less sketchy. Again, This place gets the job done...nothing more.

Been getting their tofu home style for about a year... When I called in my delivery order tonight the woman who answered the phone was so phenomenally rude I'll never go back. I'm speechless...

This IS a carryout in a kind of dingy area. So don't expect great things in that respect. And they sell singles in brown paper bags. I guess it's the 'hood business model as far as fake-Chinese-food-mumbo-sauce-serving carryouts in NE DC and environs. BUT. This is the best Chinese food I've found in the immediate area, especially those that deliver. They actually cook shrimp really well. They do wings well (but either plain or with mumbo sauce, they are greasy fried and not buffalo but, well, you're eating from a carryout, so...). Even the fries which are your basic

Location is ok (as in convenient) however management needs to do a little upgrades to the interior and exterior. There seems to be a problem with questionable looking people hanging around and public drinking (this could be because the location sells beer and wine). If you can get pass that the food isn't bad and the staff, from my personal experience, is over friendly. I usually stick with the chicken wings or shrimp egg foo yung. If you don't mind the lack of curb appeal give it a try to form your own opinion.

I Tried to order over the the phone and the person was rude. She didn't know what I was talking about and when I tried to explain it to her....she said dada dada and hung up. I called back to cancel my order. I will never order from there again!
