I have been going to this eye care for a few years now just recently I went in for an eye exam and to buy my yearly contacts and a secondary pair of glasses I was initially directed towards a pair of glasses that was covered by my insurance, however after leaving and paying for my glasses and my contacts a few days later I was contacted saying I owe them MORE money and I was confused as to why and requested a detailed receipt, they charged me additional fees $120 for the fitting of my glasses that lasted less than 2minuets and nothing needed to be done with them she then explained they had to do

Office has a habit of over selling and then under delivering on that promise. Was told one pair of glasses would be ready in one week the other pair two weeks, contacts would be ordered and delivered to my home in two to three days. After calling for an update, I was told the lab was behind and both glasses would be an additional two weeks and the contacts order was not placed. While in the office for my appointment I overheard other patients being made similar promises; pair that with the receptionist on calls telling people the lab is behind and it paints a picture. Would prefer this company

Absolutely an amazing experience from start to finish! With this being my first eye appointment, ever, I was a little nervous because I didn’t know what to expect. I had no issues in making the appointment. The appointment was handled with great care and they made sure to walk me through everything they were doing. I then was helped by all three fabulous women in picking out a new pair of glasses. They were very helpful, and honest in if it looked great or not, which I greatly appreciated! We found the perfect frames, and the glasses were ready much more quickly than expected! I absolutely love

We initially were pleased with this office until I canceled my boyfriend's order of glasses .This was the next day. He decided to get Lasik revision. The staff was rude and did not greet us moving forward. The doctor tried to talk my boyfriend out of getting the revision. I would not recommend this office due to the lack of professionalism and poor attitudes. I don't allow companies to take our money and then treat us poorly.

Terrible service. Dr was incredibly rude, wouldn’t let me choose which types of contacts I wanted with no valid reasoning other than he “thought it was gross”. I made another appointment and they for some reason had to cancel all appointments that afternoon. They never bothered to call me to offer to reschedule the appointment or even let me know that it was being cancelled. I would’ve driven across town having no idea if I hadn’t gotten a heads up from someone I know who had the same issue that day. There were maybe two nice employees that helped me out, the rest were just rude in general

After waking up with vision loss in my left eye, Deerwood Family Eyecare accommodated a last minute appointment right before a long holiday weekend. They did a thorough examination to rule out anything serious and treated my eye. The staff there were all friendly and knowledgable. Dr. Shearer was so nice and walked me through all of the scans and images, and he made sure I understood what he was seeing. They were even wonderful with my 10 month old baby girl.
