He received his Doctor of Optometry degree from Nova Southeastern University and as been practicing in Northeast Florida for the last 19 years. Dr. Stam specializes in primary care optometry including basic comprehensive eye exams for eyeglasses and contacts as well as medical exams for diseases such as diabetes, high blood pressure, glaucoma, macular degeneration, etc.

Fantastic appointment. This was the only Optometrist in the area that accepted my traditional insurance. Cristina at the front desk went above and beyond for me from start to finish. Dr. Stam was incredibly thorough and efficient. Working as a team, they made sure I got the contacts I needed as quick as possible. Looking forward to my annual appointment next year!

May be a good Doctor however front desk leaves little to desire. I called last week and made an appointment, gave the front desk all my insurance information they were nice and I looked forward to my appointment. Fast forward a week later when I got there they tell me my insurance was not accepted but conveniently had the self pay ladder speech ready to go. It would have been nice for them to tell me that up front instead of getting me to show up in the hopes I would self pay.

Amazing!! Dr.Stam is fantastic. He is very funny and makes the process of getting an eye exam quick and easy. He is professional and answered all of my questions that I had. The woman at the front desk is so kind and accomodating. The office itself is beautiful and clean. If you need a new eye doctor, this is the one.
