I have worn glasses for over 50 years and as such, had numerous opportunities to interact with many different eye care professionals.
Working with the staff at Bob Ham exceeded all my expectations. When you are first greeted you come to realize what you have been missing at other venues. From the ease of scheduling, being examined, eyeglass selection, fitting and after sales service Jessica, Ruth Ann, Bob and Dr Merritt are true professionals.

My wife had an unusual optical requirements with frame less glasses she just loved. Other opticians just shrugged us off and did the box store standard. Result was even with progressive bifocals ... she needed a separate pair for reading. Whereas with Bob Ham, there was no problem. He took the prescription with the special requirements and fitted her perfectly ... first time ... without issues. Now she only needs one pair of glasses to read and for normal seeing ... comfortably for the first time in years.

I’ve worn Silhouette frames for 25 years and came in to replace a broken arm. I was told the arm couldn’t be replaced. I went to Advanced Eye Care and Optical who made one phone call and ordered the arm which was in stock. Bob Ham is probably a great place for new glasses but repair and customer service not so much

I recently visited here with my 4 year old, as I had been told they have an amazing section of kids glasses and he had very specific requirements for his glasses (blue and orange 😂). Ruth Ann was the first person to ever correctly fit my child for glasses. The glasses he really wanted did not fit his nose bridge at all. She went above and beyond and ordered a pair that fit him in the colors he was demanding. They arrived, price was great and customer service was amazing. Highly recommend this place!

Both of my daughters wear glasses. The girls love picking their frames, as there are always so many options and varieties to choose from. The staff is great and always super friendly. They have been especially helpful with warranties and replacements for all of those things kids do to their glasses.

It is evident the entire team is committed to customer service. They are extremely helpful, patient, prompt and friendly. I've purchased glasses for over 10 yrs now. We travelled from Hawaii to Florida to get our glasses from Bob Ham Eyewear. Bob and Bobby Ham are the BEST! They truly are experts for kids’ glasses. They take their time and make sure you get a great fit. Their office staff is very professional and easy to work with! Even in the midst of Tropical Storm Elsa they had our glasses ready in a timely manner. I frequently recommend this store to friends and will continue to do so.

I bought some glasses recently... and then stepped on them. I needed them fixed and Bobby Ham fixed them for me. They new I didn't buy from them, but they still wanted to help. They fixed them good as new, were kind and professional, and warm.

After seeing all of the positive reviews, I decided to visit to inquire about having lenses ordered for my son's frames. He had a prescription already from Nemours. There was no issue with just getting the lenses. We were greeted as we walked in and from initial introduction, it was the most pleasant experience. The young lady at the desk was very informative and professional. Within 15 minutes my son had his frames adjusted, traced and we were out the door with lenses expected in days. I highly recommend Bob Ham Eyewear!

Everyone here is so polite and helpful. It sounds silly but I just got vision insurance for the first time and really had no idea what was covered and what it all meant. The receptionist gave me a quick run through on what my insurance covered and showed us their selection of glasses and a sani wipe to use. I picked out a pair of frames I liked and Mr. Bob Ham came out and sat down and went through line by line what my insurance covers and what I would have to cover and was not pushy at all when explaining what kind of lenses would be best for my prescription. My family has been going to Bob Ham for years. Everyone that works there is always very kind and helpful. Dr. Merritt is extremely friendly and always answers all of my questions, and is patient with me when I can't decide if 1 or 2 is better. They also have a wide variety of glasses and sunglasses in the store as well! Ranging from designer to cheaper options.

Wanting to go local I tried this company. The prices are slightly higher however I don't mind paying more for the better service. To my dismay after the first pair the second took over a month to get as compared to a normal week. They were not what was ordered. I tried again and only waited 2 weeks. Upon coming in I waited at the front desk for 20 minutes for anyone to talk to me even though 4 people came to the front desk for various items. I had to talk to a person working with a customer to see what to do. The reply was we will be with you in 5 minutes. 30 minutes and I finally gave up

AWESOME!! Bob is very nice and cares about getting you the correct lenses. I had a bad experience recently at a different local eye doctor and a friend in the business recommended Bob Ham to me. Very happy with the service I received and price was much less than my previous experience at my eye doctor that in my opinion was ripping me off.

I am not a customer of Bob Ham but will be now. My glasses, not purchased at Ham broke. I dropped in just to have a screw tightened. But the problem was much bigger. They spent 20 minutes fixing a mistake made by the manufacturer... And didn't charge me a penny. They went above and beyond. My next pair of glasses will come from them. #buylocal.
