Above and Beyond Catering (ABC) was a good vendor. We worked with Marcus over the course of 2.5 years to plan our event. We originally planned to only do a cocktail hour with ABC, but due to the pandemic, we had to re-plan multiple times to include dinner. Marcus was so helpful with all of the changes and made very thoughtful suggestions, down to the little details that we didn't even consider.

This fabulous place catered our wedding in 2014 and we just hired them again for a birthday party we held. A couple of our guests are well known chefs in Boston. They were effusive in their praise over Above and Beyond's menu. All the talk with our guests was how delicious everything was. Their crew also is outstanding.

I worked with Mark and his team in July 2019 for my sisters bridal shower brunch and wanted to share the postive experience we still talk about! I had never personally worked with a caterer before, much less organized an event like this, but Mark worked with me every step of the way to help me understand my options (everything from food/menu prep, rentals, and budget), to accommodating my many changes during planning the event (inclusion of rentals, addition of alcohol (and the needed bartender), overall size and menu of the party, allergies and dietary needs (gluten/vegan, etc), to making changes

I started to work with Aubrey at Above and Beyond Caterers in September to plan for our Thanksgiving Dinner in Boston at two adjoining Sonder apartments. Fifteen-strong, my family is a bit demanding in food preferences and Aubrey was incredibly patient with the changes I had to make over time. The food was FABULOUS (thank you, Hunter)! The cook worked in one apartment and the staff set up for the meal in the other. Eric, the manager, kept everything moving smoothly throughout, cheerfully and artfully navigating the chaos with four small children and an infant. The presentation was just lovely

From the first meeting with our event planner Allyson Bradley until the final guests left, our wedding was amazing. The bartender was a great conversationalist, the servers friendly and knowledgeable, the chefs creations were unparalleled and delicious, and the manager anticipated our needs as well as those of our guests. You could tell that the entire staff enjoyed what they were doing and that is a reflection of how amazing Above and Beyond is. This caterer was hired by Nascar for our Daytona 500 Day house party. The food was fabulous and beautifully presented. Pulled pork sliders, thinly sliced prime rib with carmelized onions, and grilled romaine were just a few of the offerings. Our guests were thrilled. Not only did they manage to set up efficiently amidst camera crew and production staff, they came back the next morning and picked everything up...including the trash! Hooray for leftovers!

From the first point of contact, Above and Beyond Catering was fantastic on all levels. The catering managers are creative, accommodating and extremely responsive. The food is excellent and they can work with any menu and restrictions. I hired them for a surprise 50th birthday party. We hired Above and Beyond Catering for a casual summer party on our building's rooftop. Caili (event planner) was truly incredible throughout the entire process. She answered all my questions and helped customize the menu to fit our theme. Her team showed up promptly day of the event and were beyond spectacular. My fiancee and I worked with Marcus from AboveABC on planning the catering for our fall wedding. Our guests loved the food options and everything tasted great. Above and Beyond were also able to provide unique and filling vegan options, which was very important for us.

We recently hosted a Baby Shower for our daughter-in-law at Gore Place in Waltham. We selected Above and Beyond to cater the event and we are glad we did. We planned a small (8 guests) surprise party for my friend's 60th birthday. Once I found Above and Beyond we were totally at ease. Working with Marcus was a great, he assisted in every detail with the menu and from appetizers to dessert our birthday girl received all her favorite dishes. The evening of the party our chef, Cara, was phenomenal, she was able to get everything out with perfect timing and made our evening fun and worry free. WOW. The name says it all! Mark and his team were incredible and we can't be happier with the services they provided for us for our Welcome Dinner event before our wedding. Not only did they provide absolutely delicious food, they also provided excellent service, extreme professionalism, in-depth knowledge of our venue (the Cyclorama) and other add-on services that were beyond the scope of our original contract.

I contacted A & B on relatively short notice (3 wks) to cater a surprise birthday party in my home. At every stage the people I interacted with were superb. I'm a professional event planner who has had the pleasure of working with Mark and his staff for 7+ years. When I got engaged I absolutely knew I was going to ask him to cater my wedding. My bride and I actually decided that one of the priority factors when choosing a venue was that it had to allow outside caterers. Ok, maybe you think it's crazy to review the guys I didn't hire, but their attitude speaks volumes to me. I spoke to Kirby at length about our small wedding with a very limited budget. When he send me the proposal, the (vegan) menu he came up with awesome, it was very professional and the pricing was very fair. The only problem is that the bride's crazy parents had cut their contribution to our already limited budget to the bone, so it was becoming closer to a real DIY wedding. (I'm the groom's mom).
