Joy has been immersed in practicing and sharing Yoga for 25 years. The Om Joyful Yoga Sanctuary came to life 8 magical years ago, and it has been an amazing portal of healing for all who have walked through the doors.
Gentle Yoga allows you to take your time to feel your body move. Breath and movement are the pathways to keep the organs and glands healthy and the joints lubricated. Find equilibrium and bliss in every pose. Strengthen and stretch, increasing flexibility and repair overworked muscles. In some poses you will sweat, in some poses you won't, your mind and body will cleanse and release tension and toxins becoming light, happy and calm.
The central teaching of Yoga is that man's true nature is divine, perfect and infinite. There are many schools of Yoga and one common thread, Yoga leads you from the Unreal to the real, from the Darkness to the light. The Joyful school of Yoga offers a unique understanding of the history and philosophy of Yoga.

I am feeling grateful that we have this very special place in my neighborhood, its very unique. I have only tried Cynthia's Yin Yoga class so far and I'm totally in love! She has a great energy and her guidance is well balanced, keeping you focused throughout the practice. Highly recommended to both newbies and seasoned yogis. You won't be dissapointed!!

I finally found a studio I can call home at Om Joyful Yoga studio. It's so pleasant to be around the teachers and customers. I have to say being new to yoga when I entered the studio for the first time and noticed there weren't any mirrors I had some doubts. My first class with Lydia was amazing. I felt more focused on my mat than ever before which was funny because after class Lydia mention one of the benefits of not having a mirror was it also helps you focus on yourself. I told her Om Joyful Yoga Studio had me at Focus 😄😂🤗. Hope to see you there.

We are so lucky to have this yoga studio in Cooper City. The studio is beautiful and the instructors are wonderful. Along with your traditional classes, there is always something new being offered. Whether it’s a special class for children or a workshop, it is obvious that their is a lot of time & thought put into making sure there is something for everyone. I highly recommend this studio for anyone looking for a place to begin or further their practice.

I like my yogis to be honest, fair and upstanding... That is not what I found here. I passed the expiration date for my classes, knowing that Joy has allowed many people to still use their remaining classes. What I have come to find out is, apparently, that does not apply to everyone. That was my story and I am very sad to share that with you all. Again, I like fair, honest and upstanding.

This yoga studio is warm and friendly. The owner and my preferred instructor, Joy is a wonderful leader. She gives variations in poses and has a very soothing affect. I've been going for a few weeks, twice weekly now and have been to two different styles of class, both of which I liked equally. I highly recommend arriving on time as it can get quite crowded, which is a testament of how wonderful this sanctuary truly can make you feel.

I finally gave in to see what the fuss is with yoga and the whole experience was very pleasant. When you enter, Joy asks if you have any experience or prior injuries (so she can tell you alternative yoga poses if for example you have a bad knee). Coming to Joy's classes is absolutely amazing! Her tone of voice and the way she conducts the class is absolutely perfect. If I could listen to her all day and be stress and care free. Overall the atmosphere is great! She has incense burning, which is not overpowering. Her classes aren't too full, which is nice. And there is a great airflow in

Om Joyful Yoga is two streets down from my house in one of the most convenient plazas! I've had three classes here and really loved every moment, especially for the prices.
You walk in, check in, take shoes and socks off, lay your Matt as you wait for the class to begin. Doors are then locked to avoid interruptions and your teacher begins the class.
Transitions are smooth, movements on beginner levels were not too complex, but still offered a sweat. Overall was a very joyful and pleasant experience inside a beautiful studio.

I have been to several Yoga practices - all good - I have now found one of my favorite and most enriching teachers in Joy at Om Joyful Yoga. Joy is truly knowledgeable in her ability to facilitate my own growth both physically and spiritually. I encourage you to visit Om Joyful Yoga so that you can experience what I am trying to describe here. Namaste, Howard

I've done about five classes with Joy so far and I am completely in love with her practice of yoga! She has such an incredible energy that leaves you feeling so amazing the entire day. It's not like your typical gym studio yoga where it's not a very sacred studio. This studio has a painting of a beautiful tree on the wall, various spiritual items, and overall.. Just an amazing atmosphere! I can't say enough great things about it! :)

I just attended my first class here while on vacation. As a yoga teacher and studio owner, I have to say that this studio has it together. It was a great spiritual space, amazing energy, and beautiful. The teacher/owner Joy is the most amazing person, her name, Joy, is quite fitting. The Vinyasa Flow class was a great pace, had me sweating, but had an amazing cool down and warm up. Joy's teaching style was perfect for the flow of the class, I learned some new vinyasas that I will surely bring into my teaching.
The retail section was small but perfect. I bought some t-shirts and water bottles

I have been taking yoga classes here for over a year. I enjoy all the teachers that I have had and have met lots of wonderful people. The studio offers to new students, 3 classes or $30 and also offers specials about twice a year. Whether you are a beginner or seasoned yogi, you will find classes that meet your personal needs.

I attended a Fourth of July Flow Yoga class at Om Joyful. The atmosphere was so nice and peaceful. It is one of the most appealing yoga studios I have seen. The flow of the class was beautiful the music soft and varied. The instructor was obviously experienced and friendly upon arrival. The only critic I have is the lack of adjustment and eye connection made with the students through out the class. The instructor was mostly in the front of the room (it is a long room and was full to the very end that day) and was facing forward. Which means that the instructor barely looked at the students especially
