Founded in 1974, RESOLVE COMMUNITY COUNSELING CENTER is a private, nonprofit* mental health agency in Scotch Plains, New Jersey dedicated to providing quality and affordable counseling, advocacy and educational programs for children, adolescents and adults, individuals and families.

Resolve provides psychotherapy and counseling by psychologists, social workers, and mental health counselors for the people of Scotch Plains, Fanwood, Plainfield, and surrounding areas in Union County.Resolve provides evidence-based and effective care by highly trained and caring professionals. Resolve's services are highly confidential and based the latest therapy research.
Services
Our experienced and caring therapists will help your with short-term therapy to obtain long-term life improvement. Our staff includes highly experience therapists who have advanced training, have conducted extensive research or have authored clinical publications. Individual Counseling sessions for children, adolescents and adults, for most behavioral and emotional difficulties.
Resolve's executive director and clinical supervisor is Dr. Lidia Abrams, PhD, licensed psychologist in New Jersey and New York, Diplomate of the Board of Rational Emotive/Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Fellow and Supervisor of the Albert Ellis Institute. Dr. Abrams has trained with the founder of rational-emotional behatvioral psychology (REBT), Dr. Albert Ellis.
We are pleased to announce, however, that there will be no interruption of services to our clients! All sessions will be conducted through tele-therapy. These services are confidential and safe. Office staff will continue to respond to phone calls (908 322 9180) and emails ResolveCCC@aol.com. Our intake process is very similar to our in person process.

Resolve Community Counseling Center opened doors its in 1973 as a drug and alcohol prevention program serving the youth of our communities.
The first of its kind in Union County, our school intervention program is a community based effort to provide in-school crisis intervention services and counseling for children and adolescents. The program is a unique partnership between Resolve and school personnel to counsel at-risk children. Resolve has carried out school intervention programs for the Scotch Plains Fanwood school system and for many nonpublic schools under the IDEA-B program.
