Services
At Terry R. Summers, D.D.S., we provide dentistry for children under the age of 3 to kids all the way through the age of 12. We offer oral evaluations, cleanings, and of course can take care of any cavities! Dr. Summers also has a contract at Driscoll Children's Hospital and is equipped to perform more serious treatments there, as needed.
Dr. Summers, is certified by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and is a part of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD). He graduated from the University of Texas of San Antonio in 1992 and as a pediatric dentist, has also received specialized training after dental school. From then on Dr. Terry Summers has been practicing children's dentistry and created a dentist office that focuses on children's teeth.
We will do our best to schedule an appointment at a time that is convenient for you. We recommend scheduling preschool children to be seen in the morning because they tend to be more alert and calm, and we are able to work more slowly with the child for their comfort. School children who require a lot of dental work we would also recommend to be seen in the morning for the same reasons.
The pediatric dentist has an extra two to three years of specialized training after dental school, and is dedicated to the oral health of children from infancy through the teenage years. The very young, pre-teens, and teenagers all need different approaches in dealing with their behavior, guiding their dental growth and development, and helping them avoid future dental problems.

I love this place! My daughter has been coming here since she had her very first dentist appointment. She is now two years old and just walks straight back. She even runs ahead of me to get to the room first haha. I've never had any compliments about this dentist office. All the staff are so sweet and Dr.Summers is amazing. I also went here as a kid and loved it. That's why I trust them with my daughter.

I would like to first take the time to thank Dr.Summers and his staff for not only keeping the office and lobby really well maintained but, for also always making me and my children feel safe and comfortable for the last 5 years that we have came. I highly recommend his office for your little ones. On to another year of dentL visits!😊

I really appreciate the time DR. Summers and his staff have taken to care for our children during these hard times. The clean safe environment that is presented to us shows the time and effort they took for social distancing to provide safety for our families as well as theirs.. They are very informative, and kindness like no other. I highly recommend them. Every visit is better and easier than the last, thank you.

This is the best pediatric dentist in town. Love the ambiance and the helpful staff. My niece had a great time. Dr Summers is the best!
There's this new guideline put in place due to COVID-19 that we had to wait to be called once there's more room inside the clinic to ensure social distancing, but it's alright. It's for everyone's safety. We waited in the car and when they were ready for us, they advised us to go up the clinic for my niece to be seen.

Waited here in the waiting area for my grandson and he came out smiling. It's his first appointment here in this clinic I know it's a little late and he said that he had a great experience. He said that the doctor was kind and always smiling and the ladies were too. Not sure why the Friday time here says 8-12 but I know they close at 5 PM on fridays. Thank you all

It's the first time that I had to take my niece here and she says that Dr Summers is the best! Since she's already 10 yrs old, we weren't allowed to come in with her and so we just waited at the lobby, which they keep clean all the time, btw. They ensure to maintain social distancing by not having all of the patients at one time. At first, I was skeptical about not being able to come inside with her, but it appeared that everything went much more smoothly than when she's with me or my sister. They treat patients great here and they give the kids a goodie bag with lots of treats after the appointment
