Acupuncture is an ancient technique that promotes your body's natural healing process through the placement of thin, sterile, single-use needles into precise acupuncture points. A patient's signs and symptoms determine which points to use. Acupuncture is a safe and effective treatment. It promotes healing by improving blood circulation, reducing local inflammation and relaxing tight muscles.
If your insurance covers acupuncture, we will provide you with a Superbill (an itemized insurance receipt) which you may submit to your insurance company and the insurance company will reimburse you directly. You are expected to make full payment at the time of service. If you would like a Superbill to submit to your insurance company, please tell us at the time you make your appointment.

I've been seeing Jennifer for over a year now and she's incredible! She's changed my views of self care, emphasizing how important it is to nourish our bodies. I see her for numerous things but mostly for pain, headaches, depression and anxiety. Every session, she knows exactly what treatment I need and she's never been wrong! I met Jennifer when she taught a class at the Botanical Garden. Her humor and calm nature encouraged me to make an appointment with her. Last winter I had significant shoulder issues and I felt both her acupuncture and physical therapy training would be helpful to me. I was also having trouble sleeping. My shoulder is doing so much better and I still enjoy rowing my cataraft. My sleep improved, too. I encouraged several friends to go to Acupuncture West. Jennifer is truly a healer.
