Our family has been cultivating beautiful moments with floral art and design in the Greater Washington DC metropolitan area for over 75 years. The lineage of Palace Florists is long and goes back four generations. Barney Klateman founded the business in 1943. He began his career working for Blackistone Florist in the 1930's, where he learned the trade and honed his craft, working with flowers and floral arrangements in an artistic way.

I won a year of flowers from Palace florist in a school auction and I could not be more thrilled or pleased with my whole experience. Every month I get such a beautiful arrangement delivered right to my front door. They’re great communicators. They make lovely arrangements- I would strongly recommend doing business with them. Beautiful flowers and amazing customer service. Lee and Beth at Palace Florists were amazing to work with. I did not have a clear idea of what I wanted for flowers and Lee worked with me to make decisions about the type of flowers, colors, and floral arrangement styles that would match my dress and our wedding. Additionally, I needed a last minute addition to our order which was handled easily. My flowers were delivered on time and were stunningly beautiful. I cannot say enough about how wonderful it was to work with Palace Florists!

Incredible! My husband went in with a picture of a bouquet I saw online and a picture of our dining room. Palace Florists put together a bouquet that was 100 times better than what I was going to order from this online retailer. They were super sweet to him and my young daughter and saved him from sleeping on the couch ;) Will be ordering EXCLUSIVELY from Palace Florists from now on.

Walked in looking for a premade bouquet/vase for my grandmas birthday and they had the perfect arrangement ready and packed up for me to take. The arrangement was beautiful and my grandma loved it! My go to florists. Great quality flowers (I've gotten roses, lilies, and orchids) and friendly staff. Nice little show room when you walk in with some real great displays. It was Valentine's Day, so I had to grab a dozen long stem roses on the fly. Quick in and out, a tad bit pricey, but 'twas the cost of Valentine's Day.. recommended for anyone in the Rockville/(North Bethesda) area!

The floral arrangements were beautiful and added the flair to each of the tables at my daughters bridal shower.
Flowers were at the venue upon our arrival and they were everything that I could imagine. Palace Florist got it right; the coral and champagne flowers were absolutely lovely!
All interactions w/staff were professional and Lee worked well w/me to ensure that my needs as described to him were met. In addition to the floral centerpieces they made a crown for Amber which was absolutely stunning...she was gorgeous and the headpiece added the extra accent to her entire look!

I live in another state but insist on supporting local florists so I gave Palace a try a couple years ago, based on reviews. Palace exceeded my expectations with an incredible arrangement which brought my friend so much happiness on her 95th birthday! I've used them several times since, including my friend's 96th birthday this year. I only have to give them the occasion, price range and my trust and the exceptional quality has been consistent every time. The arrangements have been gorgeous and the flowers have always been fresh and long lasting. I wish I had saved pictures of each occasion

After years of grocery store flowers, I decided it was time to find a real florist. It was Mother's Day for my wife and her birthday. Her favorite flowers are peonies...not easy to find. I found Palace Florists on Yelp. They were local and had great ratings. They did not disappoint. The staff was excellent, really dug into what exactly I was looking for, and delivered. It is a week + later and the flowers are still going strong. My highest recommendation for Palace Florists.

I called because my original choice for flowers fell through for my father's funeral. We thought we would have to go to the wholesale flower mart and cobble together a bouquet of our own! Thank goodness, I remembered a friend's recommendation of Palace.

Palace Florists is awesome. The flowers for the synagogue were beautiful.
I also received all I wanted and more when Palace Florists did a spectacular job on my granddaughter's Bat Mitzvah party with balloons. It made the room magical! I will use them for all future events. We have 6 more grandchildren's Bat/Bar Mitzvah parties ahead of us and I know where the all flowers and balloons will come from....Palace Florists!

Great fresh flowers with a seasonal twist delivered to my girlfriend on her birthday with minimal fuss. That really is about all I can ask for! The price, namely a 15 delivery fee, and like a reviewer below, blocks from the shop, is a bit steep.
Expect to start off with a base price of $50, add in delivery and taxes - and it adds up a bit quickly. Then again, these prices are not completely out of the ordinary for the area, and the recipient loved them.
For now, my girlfriend is happy and the flowers are doing well, so I'm happy recommending Palace Florists with the caveat of the price
