Laura is the co-founder of Healing Together Counseling PLLC and is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) and Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist Associate (LCASA) in North Carolina. She has years of experience working with children, adolescents, families, and adults in the residential, home, school, and office setting.
Laura has a special interest in working with issues relating to complex trauma, PTSD, Borderline Personality Disorder, depression, anxiety, emotional dysregulation, substance use and in utilizing person-centered, CBT, and DBT treatment with adolescents and adults. Laura is an ally for LGBTQIA+ community and is actively educating self and others on anti-racist principles to better support BIPOC clients.

Chinese medicine is a complete system of medicine originating in east Asia which has been in continuous practice for several thousand years. Treatments involve a detailed intake which includes an interview, assessing the pulse, looking at the tongue, and palpating the acupuncture channels in order to come to a diagnosis.
Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS), BCBS Healthy Blue Medicaid, Aetna, Cigna/Evernorth Behavioral Health, Bright Health, Mission Medcost, Wellcare, Optum, United Health and TriWest insurance. Your payment will depend on your yearly income and household size for those individuals earning $55,000 a year or less.
