Services
You can live more fully, find consistent support in your life, create balance, take risks for growth, be affirmed as a human being, be more present, learn that life can be different, live more fully, lose old stories, support generational change, increase overall health and identify somatic links to mood, move forward, discover gifts, live in authentic, and eliminate emotional reactivity to difficult transitions.
Art therapists are trained in how to safely deal with, and contain, emotions that may (and often do) come up through the art making process. I am uniquely trained to look for certain indicators in artwork, including examples of abuse, anxiety, depression, family conflict, etc. I bring unique training and skills to my practice.
We will work together to develop an approach to supervision that will best suit your needs. My practice includes art therapy supervision (ATR and ATR-P) and LCMHC supervision (North Carolina). As an LCMHCS, ATCS and EMDRIA Certified Clinician, I can help you gain the hours necessary for your licensure as an LCMHC, your registration as an ATR, or your EMDR certification.
I am currently unable to offer services covered by insurance to prospective new clients. As an art therapist foundationally in my practice, I am currently called to work in a studio modality with a framework of a 75 minute studio hour. I believe in the power of this modality and the healing that this timeframe allows for in creating and exploring the layers of yourself as a complete person more fully.
