Services
Even the most self-aware humans can experience periods of confusion, stuckness, and destabilization, and most often our suffering comes from unconscious sources. I have dedicated my training and education as a helping professional to learn the most I can about how to unlock messages from the unconscious in order to promote healing and well-being.
Counseling works, simply put. That is why I am so passionate about the work I do. My intention is to help you build a bridge to understanding your struggles as part of the greater human experience, and to find a path to hope that includes the knowledge that none of us is damaged beyond repair. My style is warm, authentic, and direct.
I am encouraged by the resilience of the human spirit. We have an incredible ability to heal and make meaning out of our lives. Within a comfortable therapeutic relationship that is built on trust, the power of telling one's story is transformative and can provide the fuel for making courageous life changes.
I believe wholeheartedly that we each possess a natural wisdom within; that we are each the experts of our own experiences. But sometimes we can become stuck in patterns that we don't know how to change. These patterns are often exacerbated by depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, loneliness, or relationship issues.
Life is challenging, sometimes it can feel like we aren't made for the pace that is asked of us in today's world. The result can feel like disconnect, overwhelm, or even depression and anxiety. Therapy can help. It is clear to me in my work, and in my own life, that once we start paying attention to our pain, we can do something about it.
