In 1951, a man named Blackie Moore opened up a small auto body repair shop in downtown Memphis. Today, seventy years later, his son and grandsons are keeping the family business alive. In order to stay competitive in today's evolving market, we have re-branded ourselves as Memphis Auto Body Collision.

We are located conveniently on Pleasant View Rd, right off of Covington Pike. We've re-engineered the collision repair process to be an easy experience for you. In fact, one call does it all. Memphis Auto Body Collision will arrange to have your vehicle towed to our shop, or arrange for a rental car to meet you when you drop off your vehicle.
Services
Don't get steered by your insurance company. Your insurance company may try to steer you to one of their "preferred" body shops. Remember, steering is illegal. The reason they want you to go to one of their "preferred" body shops is because they get a deep discount on parts and labor. Here are some things your insurance company may tell you to try and deceive you.
In our honest opinion and recent experience, we have noticed that estimates written by Progressive insurance company may not cover the entire repair. In cases where Progressive does not pay the total amount to restore a vehicle to it's pre-loss condition, the customer will be responsible for the price difference.

Saved my car from being totaled. I was pleased with the work as well. Do not use navigation to get here you will end up on the wrong street.

Unfortunately, since moving to Memphis 3 years ago, I've had to use Memphis Auto Body Collision (may be called "Blackies" on your non-updated maps) like 4 times (from minor accidents to door dings). Jason has also been super responsive and easy to work with despite an obviously rapid-growing business. The prices have always been very reasonable and the work has been impeccable each time.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR TO THIS BUSINESS. The customer service that I received from Jason Moore was borderline abusive and my car returned with more damage than it had when I placed it in their care. This is a family owned business and I'm sure the individuals that started this business in 1951 are turning over in their graves at the people they've handed it over to. Jason Moore is the absolute worse person to deal with customers. Minorities beware - total unfair treatment.

I'm a repeat customer (I have a big family) ;) -- and I wouldn't go anywhere else. Great customer service. Great work. Great price. It's called Memphis Auto Body Collision now, but it'll always be Blackie's to me.
