The best body shop~ staff/owners are attentive, communicate fast and efficiently, they handled everything with the insurance company. They were prompt about letting me know what to expect, and as things moved along, kept me updated and informed. I thought they were fast, fair, ethical, and professional. I got my suv back in record time & it looked beautiful, they even washed & vacuumed it. It looked brand new! I completely trust them, and would def use them again. Do not ever take your car here they claim to be #1 for foreign cars. Took my car for right front damage and front bumper they painted my entire car a total different color then the original light gray that it was painted it a dark cheap gray without my permission was no need to paint my entire car and when I called the shop spoke with advisor Lawrence he wanted to scream and and call me a lie said he didnt repaint it as if I do not know what color car I had lousy body work and it was incomplete he showed 10 times his guilt. I have had my vehicle in this location for what amounted to a scratch and dent on a door. It has been 6.5 weeks. Every time I call, I am told my vehicle is in another part of the repair process. I am being lied to constantly. They use covid as an excuse. However, when I dropped it off they told me 1-2 weeks. Now they are saying they told me 3-6 weeks, which is not what I was told. I am being gaslighted by this company. I understand people are working short handed at the moment, but there is no reason to be lied to in this process. I just want my vehicle back! Every time I call it's a few days longer

Joe Stewart body shop is the most unreliable, unresponsive, and disrespectful body shop I have ever done business with. I dropped my car off a week 1/2 ago and ever since then I have regret my decision. My service advisor is Lawrence and I wouldn't recommend him to anyone. He has provided no information on when my vehicle be ready or if it has even been processed for repair. One of my biggest concerns is their lack of communication. They will hold your car for a week and never return your calls or give you an update. I've tried calling many times just to get very rude and disrespectful responses

I was in Memphis Tn for my brothers funeral the weekend of the 28th June. No rental cars available. My friend was kind enough to let me borrow his S550. I scratched the rear bumper backing out a steep driveway... Before I flew back to Miami, I got an estimate & set an appointment for today, the 12th. I gave my phone number and the person that owns the car. My estimate was $1559. I gave my friend $1700 before my flight, the estimate & returned the car. Excellent service!!!!! My son attends college at the U of Memphis and had some damage to his vehicle during a storm. We choose Joe Stewart based on other google reviews. They did great work. A few months later after a massive rain the car was flooded in the middle of the back seats. Joe Stewart took it back in and realized a small issue with the 3rd brake light in the back window didn't seal properly and should have been replaced during 1st repair. They took the car back, worked on it for weeks to get the water out, cleaned the interior to make sure we had no issues with mold, ect. This all on

I went there to get a estimate for my vehicle and the person talk himself out of my business. I guess he assumed I could not afford the repair cost. I guess my 2005 ford truck wasn't worth working on. All I wanted was a estimate so I could bring my truck back to get repaired. TERRIBLE customer service. If there was a negative or 0 stars, I would definitely give them that. This was also a place the BMW dealership recommended. I called and a man picked up. He was so rude!!! I called to gather more information and to potentially set up an appointment to get my car fixed, and they told me they were closed on the weekend. I responded with oh man.. and then they just hung up!!! They hung up just because I said oh man to being closed on the weekend. WOW. Should be called arrogant auto body. The management is rude and incompetent. Also,they are located right next 2 the lester st killing scene. Another person was shot down, and killed directly across the street. Beware of real criminal activity. If the criminals and prostitutes don't get u then Joe's high prices and low quality work will. My brand new BMW was broadsided. I was extremely hesitant to take it to Joe Stewart body shop but was convinced by Lawrence they would make me happy. My car has been with Joe S shop for the last 60 days. 30 days they had the car fixed but unfortunately they've caused so much damage putting in the parts that we still do not have the vehicle after 60 days. Extremely careless and unprofessional with dealing with the installation of components. Scratching brand new wheels damaging leather, putting in seals wrong. We still don't have a vehicle and buyer beware.

I recently had my car put back together at Joe Stewart Body Shop. After some dumb drunk young punk ran into the front of my Audi on purpose. There wasn't much damage to fix except I needed a new bumper and some paint and grill. There was a small problem trying to find the grill but everything worked out and I am very very pleased with how hard these guys work. They care about their business and the work that is being done. If you need work done on your car I suggest this body shop! Ask for John he will get you in and out. My car took exactly 1 week and the work is top notch grade A!

I want to divide this review this way: first 2 visits; last visit. first two visits 5 stars easily. Maxine is the nicest receptionist. makes you feel right at home. there was a kerfuffle about ordering an outside rear view mirror the first visit. weeks later, crickets. so I drove over to see what was what. the manager took a look and said it was possible to glue the mirror back into place, though he warned he could not guarantee it would hold. well, it has held for six years. the cost? 25 bucks. second visit. oops, the other outside rear view mirror (passenger side) got dinged. You can call and call about your car in hopes of getting an answer-a week will turn into 3 months. Your only hope is to bypass the workers and only deal with the manager himself.
