I have been practicing martial arts with Huan for more than half a year. Huan is an excellent instructor. He is very patient and explains every movement in great detail. I’m a beginner who has never practiced martial arts before, and I’m bad at any sports or physical activities, but I can follow his instructions with ease. He also teaches how to use the movements and techniques in real life situations, which is very useful (also very fun!) Every class with Huan is interesting and fulfilling. I highly recommend his classes to anyone who wants to learn something about martial arts!

Huan is a patient teacher who will walk you through every movement of every step of every form, teaching you how each one might apply to a real fight. He has studied forms from a very wide range of Kung Fu lineages, and effectively combines the best of each into his teaching style. Whether you just want a good workout or to study martial arts/self defense/fighting, this class is great.

I first started learning tai chi from Huan almost two years ago, mostly for physical exercise and stress relief. But when he spent our whole first class teaching me a single move, explaining all its nuances, and going into the greater philosophy of tai chi, I realized that this tradition—and this teacher—offered a lot more. Besides his amazing passion, skill, and expertise in a wide range of martial arts, Huan is a really remarkable instructor. He teaches through patient step-by-step demonstration, detailed explanations including cultural and historical context and practical application, close

Master Huan is a great martial arts master and teacher I would highly recommend. I have been studying with Master Huan for two years. He is a fantastic teacher with great patience and a deep understanding of different martial arts styles. In addition, his instructions are insightful and practical, which broaden my mind on martial arts study. I would highly recommend Master Huan's classes, especially the private class, no matter whether you are looking to improve your physical and mental health or sharpen your defense skills.

I recommend this teacher with no reservations. Although not a student I did know and study with his reknowned father who studied with the greatest martial arts of his time
I find his son carry’s on his father’s legacy and is one of the best teachers in the US. He is not just a great teacher but also a great human being. I know his father would be so proud of his son and his achievements today.

I studied with Huan for several years prior to the pandemic. He's an amazing teacher--patient, persistent, and extremely knowledgeable. I really came away from every class with some insight about Tai Chi and ways to focus and strengthen my practice that I didn't have when I arrived. There's also a strong sense of community in his classes. People really try to help each other.

I studied Tai Chi and Qi Gong for about 7 years before finding Huan - I was looking for a new teacher and my brother, who's a serious student of Aikido and Judo, advised me to check him out. I've only been with him for a few months but all I can say is wow! - my last teacher was pretty good but this is something entirely different. His level of skill and knowledge is like nothing I've seen before - and, unlike many martial arts teachers, his expertise is coupled with an openness and goodwill that really manifest the spiritual aspect of the teaching.

I've been learning Yang-style tai chi from Huan for over 4 years, and will continue for as long as I have the opportunity. Huan is passionate and extremely knowledgeable about tai chi (as well as some other Chinese martial arts like Tong Bei and Bagua). He is also a patient and encouraging teacher who wants his students to achieve their goals -- whether that is improved health and fitness, martial arts training, relaxation, or some combination of everything. He teaches the traditional, authentic tai chi forms and techniques, emphasizing the underlying principles and martial applications (which

We have taken Tai Chi lessons from several different teachers around Boston and NYC. Huan is by far the best. He has a completely thorough knowledge of Tai Chi, having studied since his childhood in China under various masters including his father. He is also patient, kind, careful, and helps each student develop Tai Chi skills. He is really a wonderful teacher as are the other instructors from Huan's Tai Chi. The classes also have many knowledgeable students who are happy to help newcomers as well as those seeking to refine their skills.
