Jennifer Anda, DVM is the practice owner and Chief of Staff at Army Trail Animal Hospital in Bartlett, IL. Dr. Anda is a graduate of the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine where she received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 1990. She has been practicing veterinary medicine in Chicagoland for over 30 years.

Our pup had a growth removed from his arm at a different animal hospital in the area. The wound reopened multiple times which aggravatingly brought us back to that facility, yet he only got worse and worse. We sought another opinion at Army Trail Animal Hospital a week after his procedure and saw Dr. Shabib. He took a culture of his wound, discovered he had a staph infection (and was surprisingly never given antibiotics at the other vet) and developed an effective treatment plan - and now a week after seeing him, it’s nearly healed! He prioritized us and gave our sweet guy the most outstanding

This facility does not care about you or your animal, they care about how much money they can squeeze out of you in a desperate situation. I will forever regret bringing my friend to these people for help and trusting their diagnosis of my cat’s condition.
The doctors at this facility pushed a dental cleaning for my senior cat without fully disclosing the risks of anesthesia. They saw indicators of poor kidney health on his pre-op bloodwork but chose to do the procedure anyway and did not notify me of the added risk before proceeding.

We are new to this vet, and each visit we had with our puppy, we left unhappy. I gave them the benefit of the doubt..but after 5 visits, we are no longer customers. They were never on time for our appointments and the front desk does not communicate when they are running behind. The last time I was there, I had to bring my kids due to not having a sitter. I waited in a room for over an hour with 3 kids and a puppy. It was not a good experience and the vet made sure to correct me, and tell me that I didn’t wait an hour. Despite not being able to be in the facility when my chicken received care I was confident that she would be well tended to. Upon completion of her check up my girlfriend went to pick her up and was allowed in to learn how to administer the medication we were given. Our little ruby was wrapped in a blanket and hanging out comfortably until we were given a demonstration of how to administer the medicine. Prices of each test were communicated to me before any additional work was done and I feel happy knowing a have found a vet for my chickens that isn't 40 minutes away.

Dr Anda and entire staff are Awesome!! I am Very picky when it comes to vets to treat my Goffin Cockatoo's. They always make Chance and Charlie feel welcome and cared for. Dr Anda clearly explains options for treatments and testing. Chance has Finally started getting a lot of feather growth including a new tail feather due to Dr Anda's care! My cockatoo's actually enjoy there visits 🙂 I couldn't be happier with the service and care at this clinic!!
