Eddington Eyecare is a full-service primary care optometry practice, including pediatric optometry, contact lens fitting, and the treatment and diagnosis of ocular disease. An inventory of over 300 frames allows a style choice for even the most discriminating taste. We do not warehouse frames so that we can bring our patients the latest models every few months as they are released.
An eye exam at Eddington Eyecare will leave a lasting impression. Preliminary testing performed by our skilled optometry technician includes visual acuity, depth perception, ocular motility, peripheral vision, color vision, autorefraction (estimates your spectacle prescription based solely on your eye shape) and pre-glaucoma testing (yes, the air puff!).

We consistently update our inventory with the latest styles on the market to give a wide variety of frame styles and sizes to our patients. We work directly with insurance partnered, nationally recognized, optical labs which are hand-selected by our dispensing staff to give the widest lens options at the most affordable prices.
Part of Dr Eddington's training at Indiana University involved a rotation at their world-renowned Contact Lens Research Clinic, where he was exposed to the latest evaluation techniques used to ensure the safest, healthiest contact lens fit possible. Eddington Eyecare can fit contacts for near sightedness, farsightedness, astigmatism, and even bifocal contact lenses for those suffering from "mature" eyes.
Eddington Eyecare is pleased to accept many vision plans, including the following: TRICARE, VSP, Eyemed, Davis/FEP Blue Vision (division of Blue Cross/Blue Shield), Spectera (United Health Vision), Medicare, and others. Today was my first visit, and I absolutely loved this office. I loved the office staff and Rick, the doctor. I chose this office, because I liked that it was small and locally owned. I was not disappointed. Everyone was friendly and felt safe, very attentive staff. The glasses and lenses I chose (I need two pairs) were more expensive than I planned, but I am happy to support a local, Veteran-owned business. I will definitely return here for my next eye exam and any new glasses.

We have been going to Dr. Eddington for years and we will continue to do so. He is so friendly, thorough, and does not rush. He is very easy to talk to and he makes it very fun for even my little kids. His staff is amazing. They have always known who we are before we even walk in, even when we first started seeing him. He is amazing to his staff, and at one point turned a room in his office into a nursery for his staff that just had a baby so she could bring her baby in. In 2018 I visited co springs . On vaca I saw dr Eddington, after a more than through eye exam I had a new prescription. The optician took measurements for new glasses Patty Eddington helped me pick out my new look. For over 2 yrs I loved the glasses I could see so well an the optician got a perfect fit an celerity on the first try . My family has been with Eddington Eyecare for several years and have previously been very happy with the service we received. My daughter had an appointment for her regular check up in May 2020 and three days later she contracted pink eye. She called the office for a possible call in prescription, since she gets pink eye regularly. Dr. Eddington suggested she come in to office to verify it was actually pink eye. He was able to see her about 5 days after the start of the pink eye, and of course, it was mostly gone since she did have some of the medicated eye drops left over from a previous prescription

Wonderful experience! The office was beautifully decorated. The staff and doctor were friendly and prompt to seeing me and very kind to my children (who were in attendance at the follow up appt). I would say this was the best eye exam I have ever received and my prescription for contacts was more accurate than I have ever had! The doctor was thorough in explaining what to look for during the eye exam and very knowledgeable on my insurance coverage. I have seen many different optometrists for my annual prescription in my 13 years needing glasses/contacts and this doctor was by far the best!

Best eye care center in the Springs! Great service, great people, great prices! Best experience I've ever had at an eye care center! If anyone gives them a grade lower than 5 stars then they are crazy and must be difficult patients. I have seen the front office staff work with some difficult patients and they are ALWAYS kind and considerate. The old office manager was amazing, but I may be biased, however the new office manager is so kind and super professional.
