These people are literally the best. You’re having a bad day and have to go them? All better. They are so sweet and have the best personalities. I love going here (just to get treated so so SO nicely), not the point, haha, but the staff is the best thing you will ever experience. I would recommend this place to any/everyone.

Dr. Bettner is a wonderful doctor. He has helped me through some serious eye issues and is always very thorough in my check ups. Dr. Tobler helped me with a serious allergy reaction and I will always be grateful. Michelle helps me pick out glasses and she “gets me”! All of the technicians and staff that I have interacted with are kind and knowledgeable. This is a very well run office and I always get excellent care. They should get 10 stars, not just 5!

I've been going to Bettner Vision for several years.
I believe they have excellent doctors and even with recent employee turnover, as a whole, they still have a good staff.
My problem is this:
If I'm paying top of the line pricing for glasses, (If I remember correctly my sunglasses were approximately $850-$900), I don't expect to get surprise bills.
Around 3 months ago I had an eye exam at Bettner. I have AARP insurance as well as the best supplement you can get. (Due to macular degeneration in my eyes, I have received eye exams and shots in my eye every 6 weeks for years from

I would not trust anyone else with my vision needs.
Dr. Heather Van Law is an expert in her field and it definitely shows. She is always patient and professional. Dr. Van Law has gone to great lengths to help me navigate my complicated vision issues.
I trust her with my care and wouldn’t see anyone else.
A big shout out to her assistant, George. He is very knowledgeable and always welcoming. The level of his expertise is very evident.
The staff always greets me with a smile. It is nice to be recognized when I walk in the door.

Will not use bettner vision again. after five trips to bettner and four trips to costco for three different prescriptions i still see better with my three year-old prescription glasses. my first exam was with dr tobler. he tested for cataracts and found that my left eye was worse than my right eye. took his prescription and had new glasses made which resulted no better vision. returned to bettner vision and had prescription adjusted. had new lenses made that resulted in no improvement. dr bettner did another more extensive exam and indicated that no prescription would give me really sharp vision

Honestly wish I remembered the name of the associate that attended to me. So sorry I forgot his name. But he was amazing. Very professional and took time to explain everything to me and answer my questions. He is the reason for this 5 star. Definitely recommend to everyone including veterans. Colorado springs is not known for good customer service so this company definitely stood out to me. Never change

Can't say anything negative at all about Dr. Bettner and his staff. He is very knowledgeable, his staff is friendly, and the office is very clean and professional. When you have any sort of eye condition I recommend coming to Dr. Bettner. My daughter was about 5 and had some redness and swelling to her eye lid and I didn't hesitate to take her here. They can get you in quickly and they take the time to explain your eye conditions and prescriptions. Highly recommend!

I was in this morning to pick out frames for new glasses. Bethany & Shannon were so helpful in helping me choose the best frames that fit my face, complexion and hair color. I chose Bettner Vision among a long list the VA gave me because of their 5 star rating. I want to take a moment of my time to express how much I was impressed with Bettner Vision. I had heard a radio commercial that had a good feel to it and being in the market for a good pair of prescription sunglasses and actively seeking another optometry shop I decided to give Bettner a visit. I am sure glad I did. Bettner will be my go to for all my glasses from now on.

I was thoroughly impressed with my visit to Bettner. The staff were super friendly and welcoming. No pushy sales people for glasses. The seamlessly easy check in process for new patients didn't have me spending 15-30 minutes filling out paperwork. Technology was an added bonus. My appointment started before time, and they got me in and out without lacking in quality of service. The doctor was knowledgeable and explained things so clearly. He made a serious effort to perform a full and thorough exam.

We are so grateful to have found Dr Bettner. I have now brought three of my kids to him, from age 12 to age six. He has set a new standard for pediatric eye care on my experience, because of his patient, kind and friendly approach. The clincher is that while his manner brings relaxation and puts the patient at ease, he maintains efficiency and expediency. You won't be left waiting or wasting time. He obviously sets the tone in his management because I would say the same glowing things about his whole staff.

Friend of a friend recommended Bettner Vision and I am so glad she did. Best customer service I have ever received at an optometrist. Never did they try and up-sell, were genuinely interested in the health of my eye and made what is usually a dull hour getting an eye exam seem so much more fun! Every single person I came across- front desk, person leading me to exam room, doctor, lady helping me choose a pair of glasses, & someone I didn't notice until the end of my appointment- tried selling me. On contacts, upgrading the eyeglass wear, everything.
All very pushy, explaining to me that insurance would take care of it, all I had to do was sit for a contact exam.
I wanted a simple eye exam. Not take advantage of my insurance for you.

Love a Saturday appointment, they had a little lounge area that my 5 year old sat in and watched Batman, soooo many brands for glasses and had 2 of the women helping me with suggestions. Didn't have to dilate my eyes, just took retinal scans? Photos? No puff of air in the eye (yay). Dr. Bettner was quick and efficient with the overall exam, offered so many options ie. Lasik, contacts, daily's, glasses, prescription sunglasses, without being pushy or salesy AT ALL. It was so nice. Picked out a few different frames, finally decided on Ray-Bans which were only about $100 after insurance

Bettner Vision lacks significant customer service standards and business ethics that one hopes for when dealing with eye glasses. I've gone to Bettner Vision for my eye care needs for the last ten years, but throughout this past year, I've had major problems getting a simple prescription pair of sunglasses. By far the best eye visit I have ever had. Easy to make an appointment, all staff was extremely knowledgeable and kind. Dr. Bettner was the best optometrist I have seen (and I have seen many different eye doctors)...he answered all of my questions, was very educational and easy to talk to. I can tell he is an expert in his field. I will continue to go to this office and highly recommend to anyone looking for a great eye doctor!
