Founded in 2014 and now managing over 500 residential units across the Twin Cities, Rental Management Guys, LLC was developed out of necessity. We are real estate investors and landlords who developed a portfolio of investment properties over the course of several years. As our portfolios grew, we saw the need for competent management.
After looking around the market at the various property management companies and their offerings, it finally lead us to a simple conclusion. We can do this better. Our company was founded by investors just like you who wanted a property manager as focused on their properties and financial success as they were.

Services
Rental Management Guys is five partners that have been buying, selling, and managing properties in all segments of the market since 2005. As residential property owners, we collectively own 75+ units including single family homes, townhouses, duplexes and apartments. As commercial property owners, we have owned, managed and sold properties in the office, warehouse and retail space.
We publish your property on over 50 listing sites including Trulia, Hotpads, Realtor.com, and Homes.com. Our online screening process analyzes an applicant's income, background, and rental history (even across multiple states). Accepted applicants are found, our clients are presented to the clients for final authorization.
Scott Ficek, a Minnesota Real Estate broker, has been buying and managing investment property since 2001. He has purchased and sold multi and single family homes for both rentals and flips. After leaving corporate life in 2004 to pursue real estate full-time, Scott has helped 100s of clients purchase investment properties.
Managing properties takes technology to track rents, pay invoices, distribute funds to our owners, manage leasing, etc. Without good systems in place, it is easy to make mistakes and miss things. With our background in technology, we appreciate good systems. We have spent years finding the best-of-breed tools to efficiently run our company.
Managing rental properties can be a complex business. You need to have good processes not only to remain efficient, but to stay compliant with fair housing rules and various government regulations. Rental Management Guys has developed and documented many processes across our business to improve consistency, efficiency and training.

It can be difficult having an out of state rental property. Scott and his team were excellent in renting and maintaining our unique duplex. They managed the property for several years and took excellent care of the property and the tenants. Additionally when we decided to sell this year. they were attentive to helping us get the house on the market, make the necessary repairs and work with the tenants for the showings. My wife and I highly recommend their services.

Love my home. They have online tracking of progress and updates which makes the process easy to track and review current statuses and past communication, all in one place. I don't have to call during business hours if there's an issue. I just go on my login during my convenience and write whatever might come up and voila. It's every convenience I can expect from renting.

We’ve had a little bad luck with shady rental companies in the past, but I’ve seen nothing but professionalism and respect from any of the RMG employees and associated vendors we’ve met. Thanks to our leasing agent, our application process and move-in were quick and seamless. The one (only one!) maintenance request we had to submit was taken care of in a timely manner. Whenever any work/inspections needed to be done to the house, we got more than 24 hours notice. Our property manager was also great at communicating with

Rental Management Guys saved me from a tough situation where I had been trying to get a unit rented on my own for over a month in the middle of the off-season and was making no progress at all. They took over the showings and gave me my life back. Big shout-out to Willie Argo for his organized approach to filling the vacancy and perfect communication every point along the way. I lived at a property in St. Louis Park that I rented from Rental Management Guys for the past two and the half years, the home wasn't up to date with the appearance and the appliances but it was manageable. My land lord Scott Ficek made living at the property easy, he was available to help us whenever we had a issue with the home. Communication was excellent, it did not matter the time of the day he was always there to fix any problems that we had with the home. The reason I give them 4 stars is that the home was very old.
