Every client who signs a management contract with us will net you a referral fee: 20% of the first month's rent. Referring a client to us doesn't need to mean losing a potential sales commission. If the drains in your rental home aren't working properly, there is likely a clog in the pipes. You can often clear a small clog using a household plunger. Simply press the plunger over the drain hole to create suction and pump up and down vigorously. To prevent ongoing problems, consider installing drain traps to prevent hair and debris from entering your pipes.

We have been blessed to have found Erik and UTSPM to manage our rental home. This is a long overdue review! Eric and his team have been managing my Parkside at College Park condo for approx. 2 years. I had horrible experience with prior management companies. I cannot say enough positive words regarding Eric and his team at Urban to Suburban Property Management. I was working with a different property manager that became unresponsive to me and my tenant. I knew I had to make an immediate change to initiate repairs to my property and reassure my tenant that I was working on the repairs. We’ve been with Urban to Suburban since 2012. Eric and staff are absolutely phenomenal. They are professional and have done an amazing job helping to keep our property rented. As renters, we really enjoyed having Eric and Urban to Suburban as our property managers. You get the perks of being with a big company (auto payments, etc.) but the personal attention as if you were dealing directly with a single-unit landlord. In 2012, I hired Eric, the owner of Urban to Suburban, to manage my Property in DC. I am a military officer and I haven't been back to D.C. for nearly 4 years. I've deployed a couple of times. Good management company for finding tenants but terrible at managing property. I have work with Eric who managed my properties but due to my schedule I stuck around instead of looking for another company. After an encounter with Eric who is very unprofessional and showed his true color to me and others that I have referred to him; it confirmed that I need to move on. He is very insulting and rude but as I told him; I wish him all the best so good luck working with him if you chose to go with the company.

If I was staying in the area, I would not relieve myself of their services. The 2 staff members I've met are very nice, helpful, and efficient responding to any type of issue. Having lived in 7 different units in the last 7 years across Philly, Pittsburgh, Arlington, and DC, I'd have to say Eric is the best landlord / property manager I've had.
