CEP America becomes Vituity, reflecting the multispecialty national reach of the Partnership. The name Vituity represents our passion and dedication to patient care. Vituity now cares for over a quarter of all patients who visit an emergency department in California. Vituity expands across the country with new contracts in Arizona, Illinois, and Washington.
Vituity expands beyond California with new contracts at Adventist Medical Center in Oregon and DeKalb Medical Center in Georgia and rebrands as CEP America. RME is widely adopted throughout Vituity's emergency medicine practices, resulting in a significant decrease in patient wait times. Vituity becomes accredited to offer continuing medical education (CME) credits.

We believe psychiatric emergencies are medical emergencies. And the best acute psychiatric care is delivered when patients are treated in a less stressful, less restrictive setting. Led by internationally recognized expert Scott Zeller, MD, Vituity's Acute Psychiatry practice has transformed the standard of care for patients in behavioral health crisis and alleviated care delays and crowding in hospitals.
Vituity works with hospitals to implement cost-effective centers that are better for patients, providers, and hospitals. Today's patient demands easy access to fast, affordable healthcare. In fact, 80% of adults discharged from the emergency department (ED) presented due to lack of access to other providers.

CEP America: Medical fraud and corrupt billing practices LLC. Companies like this are what is wrong with America's health care system. The hospital outsources their physicians to this company which claims to have no say in what the physician charges. The physicians claim they have no say in what they charge, so there's no accountability, then they sic the collection agencies on you.

This is a real service, I work in employee benefits and know this is a genuine billing administrator. With my personal bill that was 10 days from being sent to collections because my ER doc billed separately from the hospital.
Consumers should ALWAYS contact their insurance company if you get a separate bill from your hospital bill. You may need to re-bill let the insurance company help you!
I am only giving them 1 star because of their long phone wait times, and tedious call tree.

I had to call this company 3 times today, each time, the wait is 20-25 min, the phone was disconnected the 2nd time. They billed the wrong ICD10 code, my insurance did not cover, instead communicating with the insurance company, they bill the patient, and have the patient do their job. Not professional.

FIRST OF ALL , NOT FRAUD just incase anyone was wondering. It was a long wait to actually get to speak to a representative but totally worth it. Before i jumped into conclusion that this bill from CEP america COULD be fake, i had to call the hospital first to ask. The representative from the hospital told me that physicians billing is different than hospital billing, she did mention that we would usually get this bill from CEP IF the physician either forgot to grab our insurance information from the receptionist when we visited the hospital or the physicians were just LAZY. Therefore, we would

Like the other hundreds of folks here... I called my doctor regarding the medical service I had in May at Good Samaritan in San Jose-- my balance is $0. I have not been to a medical facility since this May visit and I received a bill from CEP America stating a "FINAL NOTICE - 10 DAYS TO PAY" in the amount of $51. I'll be calling them today to report them to the BBB.
