Services
Pre-registration is not required but recommended for some of our busier class times to reserve your spot. You can sign-up online through MindBody. Please arrive 5-10 minutes before class starts so you'll have time to sign in and get your spot in the room. That said, we know life happens and we welcome you to practice even if you are running late.
If you are new to yoga or just looking to fine-tune your practice, our highly qualified instructors can help you take your yoga practice to the next level!. Safely learn advanced postures, such as headstand and crow-Learn how to modify postures to begin healing your injuries. Private lessons must be cancelled 24 hours in advanced or the student will be charged the full rate of the session.
This will give you a chance to get into the room, set up and center yourself for your class. This is especially true for Hot Vinyansa classes because it will take your body a few minutes to adjust to the high temperature. You'll get lots of cardio in the first part of class, but floor postures and savasana are where your practice really sets in and opening occurs.
Our Autorenew Members can also take advantage of CYPerks, a program exclusively offered to our monthly members! MUDBUM - First Drop In Facial ($50 regular, get it for $35), Black Card Membership (12 facials for $600 regular, get it for $420). QUEEN CITY JUICERY AND WELLNESS BAR - (formerly JUICE BAR in Park Road Shopping Center) - 20% off.
CY legacy yoga teachers, Terrie and Suzanne team up to co-facilitate Charlotte Yoga's 2022 Teacher Training. Together they have over 4 decades of experience and are dedicated to helping you grow on and off your mat. The Charlotte Yoga 200-Hour Teacher Training is a great way to invest in yourself and your personal development and growth.

Beware!! I have never written a review, but this establishment kept my credit card number after I had purchased classes for my daughter as a gift. When she didn't make it to class they charged me. Covid has hit us all, but credit card fraud is illegal. After I found the charge on my bill, they refunded my money but stole my peace of mind. So much for promoting inner peace. Watch your wallet!!

Charlotte Yoga has excellent instructors with excellent classes. They have an great blend of creativity, music, challenging/varying classes, and mindfulness. The yoga studio is spacious with high ceilings, mirrors, and windows. It is clean, with plenty of room to socially distance from your neighbors' mat. They offer virtual classes, too. Highly recommend!

Offers hot yoga only and teachers really aren't very experienced. I took a trial period for unlimited month to try multiple teachers being new to Charlotte and didn't find any who really understood proper alignment. I won't be returning, I'll be searching for another studio with teachers who are more experienced!

I have been to three classes here This is a first class studio with high quality teachers. If you think of a yoga continuum from focus on teaching yoga vs. focus on giving a hard workout, I found the classes more on the continuum on the teaching side and less on giving a vigorous workout. From a hot yoga standpoint, I would say their heat is medium high usually I expect hotter for hot yoga but it works here and if you prefer a milder hot yoga, this is probably perfect for you.

I purchased the 30 days for $30 on December 13 knowing that I would have the ability to go over the holiday while my husband was off work. I was notified a few days before Christmas that the studio that I could attend (Park Towne) would be closing for approximately 10 days. Not only was I surprised and extremely disappointed... I emailed two separate times to ask for an extension because it was completely unrelated to anything on my end and I was never informed of this closure when I decided to purchase the package. I never heard back in response to either of my emails... Then today I received

I want to like this place, i really do. The teachers are good and the vibe seems nice. But with the recent change in ownership they have made some unfortunate changes. Almost all class times have been shortened to one hour. Unless you live within a short drive of the studio, it's almost not worth the drive through Charlotte traffic for an hour class. Also almost all classes are suffocatingly hot. I understand the appeal and benefits of warm and some hot classes. I just wish there were a greater variety of classes on the schedule. Unless you like it really, really hot, (like light-headed, i-need

I stopped In for a one time class while here for work! It was such an amazing high energy class and was EXACTLY what I needed to start off my weekend.
I will make it a point to come back here if ever in charlotte again.
If I lived here it would be my regular spot... I think the instructors name was Jenna. But I can't remember.

I can only get out a mini review right now because I'm in such a zen state. But needless to say, am hour of hot vinyasa flow yoga is just what this body needed to counter all these 17 degree days.
The teacher was helpful and provided modifications without being critical and the class was extremely welcoming to a newcomer like me. (Even though they had fancy anti slip mats and I had my Beauty and the Beast towel.)
I'll be back for more for sure.

Great first Experience with Charlotte Yoga!! I like hot yoga but this class was HOT. I had sweat dripping in my eyes!! After a while I forgot I was in a sauna and focused on my movements.
I'm a beginner yoga person so I would have liked more instruction on finding each pose that I'm not familiar with. I tried to follow those around me but it seemed like everyone was doing a different pose. BUT I wouldn't consider that a bad thing...I will defiantly come back so I can get better!

Try before you buy!
I have been going to this studio regularly for over 4 years.
The benefits of this studio are
1. They offer many classes throughout the morning, day, and evening, so you can always find a class that works for your schedule.
2. The classes are challenging to all levels with a power/flow style. Most of the teachers use music as well.
3. The atmosphere including the teachers, yogis, etc. is relaxed and friendly.
Some of the watch outs:
1. This studio has recently had an owner change and major class schedule change. 2. There is not a lot of consistency with the teachers

I am a Class Pass subscriber and saw that Charlotte Yoga had a highly rated hot vinyasa class, so I decided to sign-up for a class and I am very glad that I did!
Once I got over feeling far too square in the majority hipster crowd, I found the instructor and the other yogis super friendly. The studio gets really hot, which is a plus for me because I don't like "hot yoga" classes where I barely break a sweat. Make sure you bring a towel and some water with you because, unlike other studios I've sampled in the Queen City, you'll NEED it at Charlotte Yoga!!!

Huge disappointment. I moved here after doing yoga in both Asheville and Wilmington for ~10 years in several different amazing studios. I REALLY wanted to like this place and will continue to seek a yoga studio home in the area.
For starters, Charlotte Yoga is everything but a reverent, meditative, relaxing environment. If that is what you are looking for this is not your spot. As a runner/ biker/swimmer (ironman triathlete in my former life:)) I do yoga to relax, stretch, meditate and get some strength training. The experience at CLT yoga is more like a $19.99/mo gym class; dirty, loud

I really enjoyed my drop-in class at Charlotte Yoga with Joey. This studio has one room for all yoga classes, so I was impressed at the turn-around time between the hot class and the power hour, switching out pretty quickly in 15 minutes. The hot yoga instructor was kind enough to do a quick Swiffer job on the hardwoods to mop up any leftover sweat pools, for which I was grateful. Glad to see they do this here, as I know not all studios do between classes!
Most importantly though, the class was great. Joey had a great way of bringing intention to the practice upon opening, but still allowing

I have been looking to branch out and explore the various yoga studios at Charlotte. This morning I had the great fortune to experience a PureHot 90 class with Suzanne. She started the class by personally introducing herself to the new yogis, including myself. She was encouraging and positive throughout the class. The class was hot without being sickeningly hot, and Suzanne was always cognizant of the temperature in the room.
Overall, I loved the vibe here! Everyone seems warm and caring. The class was challenging and inspirational. This is what yoga is all about.

LOOOOOOOOVE THIS PLACE!
I have tried a variety of YOGA places from Lake Norman to Blakeney.
What I LOVE about Charlotte Yoga is the feeling.
The staff isn't snobby. They make a genuine effort to learn and remember your name.
The classes are challenging, yet teaches to all levels for newbies. The music at Charlotte Yoga ROCKS. They put the fans on sporadically and open the door.... which is a little piece of heaven.
Go get your yoga on!

Looking for a challenge and are you ready to sweat it up? I couldn't resist trying a class for free to see what Charlotte Yoga is all about. They offered a free class for anyone to practice as a way to dedicate that hour to the people in our lives who inspire us. How cool is that?! Forty-four of us piled in the yoga studio...like tightly packed sardines, but happy sardines nonetheless.
Jonathan was the instructor and Lee Anne assisted. They made a great pair! It was nice to get the occasional help to be more aligned or to sink in a pose with assistance. Jonathan was upbeat and encouraged
