I was nearly the victim of a convincing and orate phone scam from someone purporting to be a police officer. I work in behavioral health and the ‘officer’ claimed that the call was being recorded and that I was be advised to a legal situation wherein I failed to appear as a witness (with a signed summons in his possession). I initially contacted David Partovi last year when my family law case was starting to get overwhelming. I am currently in the process of trying to advocate for my son and I found David's law firm through a search for "family lawyer on contingency", which led me to his Avvo page that consisted of perfect 5 star reviews (if I recall correctly). Perhaps the best young divorce/criminal defense lawyer in Spokane County. He answers his own phone, has a low nut, and therefore you can still get him for a reasonable retainer. Highly recommended, if he can't help you, he'll make a good, free referral to a lawyer who can!
