Expensive for what it is, which is just OK food. Not bad, not great. There are much fresher sushi places in the seacoast as well.

Sushi here is somewhat expensive but they make up for it with larger servings, at least for specialty rolls and whatnot. The hibachi is entertaining and is great for crowds but I wouldn't recommend it for anything other than an occasion. Overall food is great and the variety is a plus but the cost is where I'd pause, especially if you enjoy sushi.

The food is always great, but the service was not good. 4:30pm not busy at all, our waitress barely let us talk when ordering, I ordered a poke bowl and she didn’t ask me how I wanted, what rice, what sauce, if I want to add anything, and before I could tell her what I wanted she was already asking my husband. She asked if I wanted ice cream while walking, didn’t even stop to talk, and gave us the check while my husband was still eating. I know it doesn’t sound like a big deal, but we felt unwelcome with all this rudeness. This place is one of our favorite spots and next time we’ll make

Solid sushi, solid boba. Can't speak on the hibachi part or any other food there but the sushi was great. As was the clear soup. Decent sushi prices too!

Convenient and fun Japanese steak house. The cook was excellent and the food was excellent; same formula as most Japanese steakhouse's but with an even better cook than others I've been at. One criticism is it could use a little refurbishing and updating inside as the prices were high; the same as all other Japanese steak houses but with a less impressive interior.

As delicious as my food was, it was sorely tempered by a bar scene, meaning loud noise, loud music, loud everything.
Sushi, for me, it is not just the art of it, the taste of the flavors; it is also the quiet ambiance wherein I can focus and enjoy the delicious display before me. Further because of the high level of noise, the waitress messed up my simple order of 2 rolls- the one messed up was a salmon roll with mango- hot tea and water with lemon. I receive a tuna roll instead which, while delicious, was not what I desired.
I also had to ask for my water multiple times. It wasn't because they

Excellent food. The sushi menu is huge. Many very different special rolls. Never had a bad one. The fusion menu is very good. I highly recommend the basil chicken. The noodle dishes are great. Tempura is great. I have never had a negative experience. We have never done the hibachi but it certainly sounds like people are having fun. It's a little loud but not disturbingly so.
Overall, great place for sushi and other unique dishes.

If I could put zero stars I would. Absolutely terrible. Service was terrible. We left before our entrees even came. Got the crispy calamari and it was so bland and bad. Cannot describe how terrible our waitress was. Would recommend NOT going here.

So far, the BEST Japanese food I have had so far. The flavors were great and blended well. Nothing was too strong or too weak with flavor. It was perfect in my own opinion.

Our waitress, Ana, was amazing! Visited for a birthday and she was friendly, efficient, and even sang happy birthday :) however, despite making an 8PM reservation (or save, not sure how it works here!) we waited over an hour for a table while the hostesses stood at the front and gossiped, not attending to patrons. Food was really great, and so was service, besides the first hostile impression we received from the hostesses!

I am so horrified that I ate some of this before realizing it was completely raw...I am so so so grossed out and praying I don't get food poisoning. I will not be eating here or ordering out from here again.

Update: got food poisoning..had to call out from work. What a waste of a PTO day.

Pretty good sushi but of course not like California grade. I guess I'm just I'm still missing home. Lobster appears to be frozen tails probably from Florida. A bit over cooked but tasted not bad at all and not like the typical shrimp like taste common to lobster down south.,I would have preferred local fresh lobster tails especially from Maine, but I suppose frozen imported saves on cost. Despite that it was the best tasting Spinney lobster that I have ever had! Owners and staff appear to be Chinese probably from Taiwan as they have traditionally a mixed Japanese pan Asian cuisine. Great for local sushi. Obviously not top top notch but is good and the staff are very friendly. Prices are fair and the food pretty good. Great for sushi lovers. Also the drinks are pretty good however, it does matter who's making them.

Got takeout and the Hibachi is really good, but got sushi and it was kind of just a pile of mess. Went to pick a piece up and it just fell apart and every piece was like that. It wasn't even wrapped up with much rice just all rice was thrown on top.

Do NOT get the chicken maki cream cheese glob wrapped sandwich meat deep fried to a disturbing crisp. I am nauseous still, days later. A truly revolting idea with a somehow even nastier execution

Ikko (both location, but visited Dover today) is my favorite sushi/hibachi location. I'm so glad to have both locations open for dining again (Dover just this week). Always delicious, fresh, and with great presentation. Highly recommend for any menu ite

So far I loved every time I come in. Whether for hibachi with the family or sushi Sunday's. The food and drinks are good, the staff is friendly, place is clean.

All in all one of my favorite spots in Dover.

I hadn't been to a hibachi in years, went here two weeks ago for a going away party for a former coworker. The atmosphere is your typical hibachi style, U shaped tables with cooktop in the center, the chairs are extremely low compared to the height of the tables though.
Our cook was great, he tried to have fun, but 90% of our table had never experienced hibachi before and they were unsure of what to do. The food was good but it was extremely expensive, I got the steak, chicken and noodles and an iced tea, the bill was $45 with tip, for just me. My wife and I go out every Tuesday for trivia
