Powerful aromas of wild strawberries and vanilla oak, exploding with ripe dark berries and cedar, finishing with mochaand dried fruit. Lively nose with tropical/citrus fruit, crisp finish with all the classic acidity, structure, and length. The predominance of Pinot Noir provides classic, "Veuve" structure, with Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay adding round elegance, finesse, and balance.
The York River Landing's restaurant and bar are located along the beautiful York River, just five minutes north of the Kittery Outlet Center and five minutes south of the York Visitor's Center. Great new restaurant for us, we have quite a few friends that visit this area yearly...we all share our experiences...
Our cuisine was awesome and the atmosphere relaxed...Great beer, wine and stout selection !!
The steak au' poivre was delicious....
It would have been awesome to have a small bowl of bread or a salad offered with the meal, but that's ok because you will leave with a feeling of satisfaction.
No need to get dressed up as most waitresses are in jeans to enhance the relaxed atmosphere with water views...

We were seated inside facing the river. The hostess was not too friendly. Our server came over to take our drink order. My husband did take a bit of time but, he ordered a nice glass of wine. My husband is the manager of our family's Tasting Room out in the Applegate Valley, Oregon.
I asked for water, I waited and waited then, we ordered our food. Our server Allison, was not attentive with us, asking us questions if there is anything else we might need. We went there for dinner, specially for oysters. We ordered oysters, clam chowder, caesar salad and fish tacos. The oysters were fresh and tasty, The clam chowder was creamy and had clams.The fish tacos had good flavor and the fish tasted fresh. We were very happy with our experiences and we will be back.

This place always delivers. The service is spot on, every server is friendly and super polite. They have a list of 36 beers, mostly Maine beers , well curated variety and flavors. The food is mostly local and all fish and seafood really fresh. We had never a problem at YRL. The place offers beautiful river views almost from every room and that back porch! During COVID they seem to be following all the rules, no complains there. They make it too hard to visit the area and go somewhere for lunch or dinner.
